Challenge! (Kinda..)
« on: October 28, 2014, 08:01:50 pm »
Hey everyone, as you can see on the other thread I've made (*POSSIBLY* New PC), I'm looking for a new PC.

So I wanted to ask you guys to come up with a kickass (as much as possible) gaming PC, the price limit is 1500$ dollars! :)

Unless you want multiple screens you're better off with about 700-800 dollars seeing as that is where you'll get the most bang for your buck. You'll be able to play most if not all games on the highest settings for that money.

But anyway it's your choice really.

As Irfox said, $1500 is pretty steep, unless you are using programs more demanding games (Such as design etc..)

His prices are reasonable, as a friend of mine had a custom PC built for $800 New Zealand Dollars and that's about $900-$1000? And that runs skyrim (HD Mod) on about 70 fps..
I don't know too much about this kinda stuff, but are you looking at buying already built or looking at building? Custom can be better for money, for sure.

To be honest, what I really want is for it to run on around 120 FPS in LoL and around the same in various shooters (CoD:MW2, CS:GO).

Shouldn't really compare performances on League of Legends because it's just so unstable. At the start of the game you might have 300 FPS but towards end of the game it drops down to 100 and after a patch my FPS also tends to drop lol
