After formattig and reinstalling windows 7
« on: November 21, 2014, 08:48:29 pm »
I formatted my Dell laptop today and reinstalled windows 7 and it was perfectly fine.
when I got into the desktop, I found out that i'm not connected to internet.
tried troubleshoot and it failed and totally nothing has worked for me except a laggy netstick and I
can't find a way to connect to wi-fi again.

if anyone is familiar with this problem or has a solution, please reply, that will help.
thanks  :)

That's what I figured.

I downloaded the drivers, installed them correctly and no internet yet, I can open the connection tab now,
but no wi-fi appears, in "device manager I still have an exclamation mark tried lotta drivers and yet im unable to fix it.

I have a laptop - dell n5110.

if you have any drivers or had a similiar issue, reply here. Thanks  :)

Have you tried deleting your avatar?

You can usually get more appropriate support from Dell themselves, on their website. If you still have exclamation marks, it means you probably got the wrong drivers.

Go there and download & update all your drivers, if you haven't already.

He obviously can't update it since he's not connected to the internet

Download somewhere else and port them to your laptop with usb stick or use the CD you got.
