Ancient energy can be obtained by killing another player who is using Ancient armour or Ancient weapons in the Wilderness. The amount of energy dropped is 500 less than the number of charges the ancient item had, with a minimum of 100 energy.
The energy can be used to recharge Ancient armour or Ancient weapons, with every 2 Ancient energy used giving 1 charge up to a total of 3,000 charges or 1,500 charges for corrupt armour. Recharging any Ancient item to full does not make the item tradeable again, however.
Ancient energy can be traded to other players.
