A route to the entrance of the God Wars Dungeon from Trollheim.
The God Wars dungeon is a dungeon where godsword shards and hilts can be gathered from the bosses there to form the Godswords, or to obtain the high tier god wars armor. It's located near Trollheim.

To reach Trollheim, you can use the Trollheim teleport using the Normal spellbook. Once there, continue on north from the mountain, past the trolls, and follow the path to the Godwar's Dungeon. You can enter the dungeon by clicking the big icey rock between the Ice wolves.

You can also use a charge from a Ferocious ring to teleport directly to the entrance of the Godwars Dungeon.

It is advised to be aware of high leveled monsters near the entrance, and throughout the dungeon. If you are wearing an item of a God (Zamorak, Saradomin, Bandos or Armadyl) the minion's of the god will not attack you through the dungeon unless you are in the gods room. There are special sections where the servants of each god are wandering, in these rooms you can kill these minions for loot and for killcount.

There are four rooms, representing each god with their minions and their highest General.

  • The Zamorak god room
  • The Saradomin god room
  • The Bandos god room
  • The Armadyl god room

In each of these rooms you'll find the servants and generals of their praised gods. You will need to kill 10 minions of each god to be able to enter the boss room of that god. For each boss room there are also individual requirements to be able to enter.

Zamorak

The Zamorak room is located to the north of the entrance of Godwars dungeon. You will need 70 Hitpoints to enter the Zamorak part. To enter the General's room you will need to kill 10 minions of Zamorak.

Tactics for Zamorak

Melee is the most efficient combat style to deal with Zamorak in Godwars dungeon. First you will need to get 10 kills on the minions of Zamorak. This is relatively easy as Zamorak has low level minions, like imps and Pyrefiends. Kill these to waste as less food as possible. If you do not wear a Zamorak item, like a Zamorak godsword or a Zamorak cape, all minions in the Zamorak part will be aggressive. It is recommended to wear a Zamorak item, to waste as less food possible.

When you have reached 10 killcount, get ready to enter the General's room. In the General's room you will be attacked by all three combat styles. Every minion of the general represents one of the three combat styles. It is advised to kill the general with a group, as it is very strong and the minions will not make it any easier.

The Zamorak general, K'ril Tsutsaroth, attacks with both melee and magic attacks. It is advised to use Protect from melee when K'ril Tsutsaroth targets you, and Protect from Magic if you're not the main target. Be aware that he will switch targets during the fight, so switch to the appropriate protection prayer when he does. K'ril Tsutsaroth can hit up to about 40 with melee and about 30 with magic. The General's minions can hit you for about 20 damage.

There is an altar in every boss room to restore your prayer. Note that you are only able to restore your prayer every 5 minutes. The altar will tell you in how many minutes you will be able to restore your prayer again. A player with high Prayer level will not need to drink Prayer potions, even when using Piety, although bringing one for emergencies is always handy.

Also there is an option at the altar that you can teleport away during a fight. You will be teleported to the main entrance of the God wars dungeon.

Saradomin

The Saradomin room is located to the south-east of the entrance of God wars dungeon. You will need 58 Agility to enter the Saradomin part. To enter the General's room you will need to kill 10 minions of Saradomin.

The Saradomin general, Commander Zilyana, attacks with both melee and magic attacks. It is advised to use Protect from melee when Commander Zilyana targets you, and Protect from Magic if you're not the main target. Be aware that he will switch targets during the fight, so switch to the appropiate protection prayer when he does. Commander Zilyana can hit up to about 45 with melee and about 35 with magic.
