Dharok's greataxe is one of the various barrows items that is obtainable from the Barrows Brothers minigame. It is one of the pieces of Dharok's armour set. The greataxe requires 70 attack and strength to be equipped.
Dharok's greataxe, like all barrows items, is a degradable weapon and will gradually degrade into a broken state while used in combat, possessing a total of 5,000 charges. It is only tradeable when it is completely full of charges or completely broken. If the user dies and drops the greataxe, the broken version will be dropped. The greataxe can be repaired by Bob at any state for a coin fee of up to 300,700 gp, depending on how many charges missing. Players may also repair it at a repair bench in a player-owned house for a reduced fee of up to 237,553 gp.
Set effect
Dharok's greataxe, when equipped with the rest of the set, will activate Dharok's set effect. The set effect will increase the player's strength bonus by a percentage depending on how many hitpoints they are currently missing: the less hitpoints, the higher the bonus. The equipment screen will also display the player's maximum possible hit at 1 HP.
