Gold ore can be smelted in a furnace to create gold bars.
Gold ore can be obtained by mining the gold rocks in the Dwarven mines, in the Obsidian caves, in the Rimmington mining site or in Brimhaven. It requires level 40 Mining to be mined, and grants 372 experience per ore. The three rocks in the Obsidian caves are the closest to a banker.
Gold ore is dropped by Troll spectators and Thrower trolls.
