Iron ore can be mined from Iron rocks spread across the world, you can find an abundance of Iron ore in places like the Al-Kharid Desert, in the mines south of the city itself, or in the Falador Mining guild, and in the mines located just outside of the city of Varrock.
Iron ore is one of the resources required to create Iron bars and Steel bars.
Iron ore will smelt with a success rate of 100%.
