Steam runes are one of the 6 combination runes made through Runecrafting. They are a combination of Water and Fire runes and can be used in any spell that requires either (or both) runes. In order to create Steam runes, players must bring rune essence and either water runes and a water talisman to the fire altar or fire runes and a fire talisman to the water altar. This process requires 1 Runecrafting and grants no experience.
