Hey guys,

I've got some larger changes ready, so please take your time and read through them. They're targeting the wilderness and protection prayers!

Protection Prayers
Yes, we have to nerf them, 90% damage reduction just seems too much. We don't want to make protection prayers super bad, so their protection value will now be 80% instead of 90%. Bosses still won't hit a lot, but it's noticable now.

Freezes and Binds
I've identified that with the protection prayer changes, binds and freezes are just too low. When protecting from magic, your opponent can easily escape when binding / freezing them. Thus, I've increased spell's freezing timers and protecting from mage no longer reduces them by 50%, but by 40%.The freeze of an ice barrage, with a magic protection prayer on your opponent, will be 12 seconds. You take the freeze timer and reduce 40% of it, so 20 - (20 * 0.4).

Spectrals
These monsters are too easy to be killed and have too good drop rates for obtaining the actually best armours in-game. I want to address the problem of ancient items overflowing the market and thus following things will be changed:
Performance Improvements and Shadows
You'll find yourself getting higher fps rates in the game now. I've optimized the engine to support dynamic shadows and higher detailed lightening. You can read about all the details here (https://emps-world.net/forum/index.php?topic=17659.0).

New Donator Items
With this update, we're releasing 3 new donator items: Skeletal wings, tail and cape.

Smaller bugfixes and changes:
Ancient Caves
I'm sorry to say, but I was unable to finish the new dungeon. I can already present some details about the new cave though. You'll be able to obtain 6 new items dropped by 3 new monsters. These new monsters will be a new and tough solo challenge. Each of them has a unique combat mechanic that you need to learn in order to be able to kill them effectively. Below is a picture showing all of the 3 new monsters:

Great updates, stoked on dark bow's buff and the upcoming hand cannon
i really hope a 20 barrage freeze won't ruin bridding without overheads...

Freezes and binds are by far the best part of this update. Pkers gonna love pking at "deep" wilderness even more.

Looking really forward for the buffed weapons. I hope they will be actually viable after getting buffed.

Just because you farm Spectrals with 2 accounts and pk with javelins doesn't mean they were in a healthy state.

O-T: Keep the updates coming, excited to see that dungeon when it's fully done.

Noice update!

Spectrals combat power increased. They can run and will do pathfinding and have more accurate hits. Their punishing prayer mechanic has been removed, you're free to pray against them again.

May actually make them easier to kill with high-defence equipment.

That would reward high level players to risk their equipment then.

I forgot about the fact that javelins were the only rare items you get from spectrals, so maybe an idea to buff their droprate/amounts i guess

RIP slayer xp rates on yet another monster. Gotta bank every 2 kills on average, which is 6-8 bank trips per task. Old tormenteds were much more enjoyable to kill

Prayers were already too weak on pk. You can hit 20+ with darts on 300+ range def+ range pray on. If u are praying the right prayer u shouldnt get hitted that hard.

Great update! The dungeon looks really dope, and it's propably better to hold it back and not rush, if it's not ready. We'll wait patiently  ;)

He's using bandos, full slayer helm, dboots, str t, fcape, anger battleaxe, ring of vigour afaik

Ye. Dan was getting 2-3 kills per trip using max ranged I believe with onyx bolts, divine and everything.

Idk if u killed them at 6-8am they could be worth. Personally never saw spectrals as nothing but annoyance since they get assigned by duradel

says right here it decreases by 40% (explanation, it is hit - (0.4* hit) = new hit) in pvp.

public static int decreaseForPlayer(int hit) {
      hit -= hit * 0.4;

so either he is lying or the original hit was 72 indeed.
Edit:  with my set i can only get up to 46 max hit w/ ice blitz (maxed magic armour with ahrims set). Ahrims effect only increases spell effects, not damage
