Hey guys,
A happy new year! :) I'm changing a few things with this update, so please take your time and read through them.
God Wars Dungeon
I'd like to keep it simple. The GWD is just too easy. I didn't want to make the monsters stronger, because it's not really funny if they are just going to hit you harder or can take more damage. I'm satisfied with their current combat power and don't wish to change that. So, I've thought of special mechanics that will make the fight more interesting and will require you to pay more attention to the actual fight. On top of that, the drops have also been buffed. The amount of resource drops you get is larger now and in noted form.- Commander Zilyana now buffs her allied minions. This goes up to 50% of their current combat power. Starlight will drain your prayer points.
- Kree'arra has received different projectiles with different speeds. They have no special effect, but 'unlucky' or 'lucky' stacks of its projectiles can give you a lot of hits in a short amount of time. Flockleader geerin and Wingman skree can now throw poisoned spears. The poison damage starts at 1, but can go up to 15 depending on the length of the fight.
- General Graardor has gained the ability to buff the attack speed of his allied minions. Moreover, the lower he becomes, the faster he will attack.
- K'ril Tsutsaroth: Spawns allied minions and received new attacks.

Grand Exchange Sets
You can now buy/sell item sets on the Grand Exchange. Hovering over the set tells you which items it includes. Every GE clerk allows the exchange of item sets.

Particles
The system isn't yet 100% finished, but I can already show-off some pretty cool graphics! All elemental weapons have received particles. If you don't like them, they can be disable at the game settings.

How do you like the system? What could be done to improve it? Where else would particles be cool?
Changes:- Dragon dagger special attack has been nerfed. Accuracy decreased by 15% and maxhit decreased by 5%.
- Bosses (https://emps-world.net/wiki/Bosses)can no longer be frozen.
- The defensive bonuses of third age armours have been buffed by 10%. The 3rd age amulet's bonuses have also been reworked completely. It gives slightly less accuracy and strength bonus than a fury but more defensive bonuses.
- Walls in the Revenants dungeon have been fixed.
- You can now search for places on the minimap. Dungeon locations have also been added there. It should now be easier to find certain places of interest with the minimap.
- The hits it takes to fully degrade barrow items was increased from 5.000 to 8.000.
- Lunar spells no longer block walking when casted.(vengeance, heal other, vengeance other, etc.)
- The mailserver was updated with DKIM records. That will let mailservers classify mails from Emps-World less often as spam.
- KQ's poison damage now starts at 1 and goes up to 15.
- Deflected damage can no longer be deflected again (veng of vengs).

Isn't this just going to make GWD more deserted? The item prices are really low so even when the dungeon was easier, noone was really motivated to go there (except ironmen of course) :-\

GWD drops have been improved too.

Amazing update. I'm especially glad to see the particle system.
A few examples where particles could be used: fire cape, lava, water, fishing spot, firemaking (smoke and sparks of fire)

Void sets won't be added. Way too many combinations etc, it would just create confusion. We will see more sets in the future though ;)

Oh so that's the reason why everyone had to use magic go get more than 1 kill per trip pre-update, got it! RIP everyone without maxed gear trying to pick up PvMing now.

I think you've done a great job by adding GE set.
like the idea of the buffs with having better drops.

im not really sure whether GWD should be the place where to "pick up" PvMing. It should be meant for a bit more advanced players imo.

None of the drops are best-in-slot equipment except the gloves. If you ask me, GWD is hardly even worth doing because most of the drops are garbage and they won't reach higher prices.
If GWD is supposed to be the hardest possible PvM content out there, then make the drops look like it's worth doing it. Getting a single rune platebody 90% of the time isn't really motivating.

is that arraxi's drop table or someone's else, anyways I agree on making the droptable more worth it, depending on the new mechanics that is and how hard it is

the update as a whole is great... but i don't think what you did with gwd is the smartest idea out there, we'll wait and see.

500k-1M extra on the price tag for the helmets is nothing for the best DPS armor set in the game. Hoarders would also be able to bind more items to a single bank slot, which was the real reason in the first place why people wanted the set box things to be added.

Thomy I think you have to know that those new godwars' changes are horrible. It was already quite difficult to get good items from them, now is harder than ever and the drop rate is still junk (i killed bandos 8 times and i got coins as drop 7 times and the other item was garbage too), and there is another problem, the best drops from each boss are worth in 25m or less, and you have to spend hours and tons of mantas and potions to kill them. In my opinion if you wanted to become GW in a non habit place you did. Hope you read this and make something about it.
Sorry for my writting too, is the first time i write and i never considered that i should do this, but the last update made me get mad.

The number 1 problem with you is that you're expecting a drop in 8 kills. If the drop rates were that ''good'' 3-people team would be able to get multiple full inventories of drops in a single day.

I don't care if i get a bandos item in 8 kills or 100 kills (i said 8 times before to give and example, but i killed each boss from gw 5 times at least. All to see those "new drops" and i got cash every time), but if you think that getting 35k coins with 25% as drop rate each time that you kill a monster lvl 624 is okey, it shows that you don't kill monsters to get cash communly, and if i am wrong, so you aren't thinking about players who are looking for ways to earn cash, i don't think making best's drop-rates "better" is the solution, but thomy have to think that nowadays there aren't lots of players at the game and making bosses harder to kill all to get a bandos hilt worthed in 3M won't make them get more interested in play this game because they won't know what to do to make cash. I had read a post where you guys were talking about this topic and most of the people said that there are lots of way to make cash, but they aren't being sensible. You could say that there are lots of ways to get cash, but it isn't true at all.

25k per drop is enough to pay back your supplies. The rest is pure profit on top of that.

LOL i am not sure if you usualy kill bosses to get items, the time you spend and the efford you do, but now i can see the way that you think and I am not sure we'll be agree with each other.

I've made my bank with purely PvM. It's impossible to lose money doing so. If you disagree with that, you must be pretty damn shit at the game.
