Preset option
« on: February 11, 2016, 10:02:07 pm »
I'm not a staker at all but I think adding the preset option into the duel arena could potentially reduce the amount of scamming cases that occur during stakes.
Basically the preset option allows you to click the "preset" button in the duel interface and it selects all the things on the screen that you want to be selected.
Fro example, if you're not wanting any equipment pieces except a weapon then on your preset you would select it so that no armor is allowed and then you could do the same if you didn't want mage, range, prayer, etc.
Could potentially reduce scamming cases.

I think this is a great idea and should definitely be implemented if possible.

Sure, they'd reduce some option scamming. That still leaves plenty of ways for people to scam though. It's not 100% watertight. People could still change the amount they're staking before someone notices. Honestly the only reason people even get scammed is because stakers generally have no patience.

The second screen is plenty for someone to check if he's being stake scammed or not. I wouldn't mind the change, but it's not something I would prefer Thomy spent his time on.

Sure people are still going to get scammed, it's bound to happen no matter how many precautions are taken.

I also wanted to suggest this, but I honestly didn't care much about staking.  XD  Since you brought it up, I might as well say that it would be better if they had a red flashing highlight to the options that were changed into the 2nd accept screen.  This way they can find what was changed much quicker.
