make that when you turn on the cleint (the game) near the "log in" and "create account" buttons would be important polls of forums or related to the game and important news of the game, so absolutely all players would have a chance to vote and say his or her word for the help to build the game.
trust me, not all players can, know how to use forums, that's why we need this thing, and i have a perfect example for this, you guys remember the thread that martin did in news & announcements section, the player Representatives one, well you should have voted for your Representative there and it only received like 40 votes so far, when there's like 500+ active players in emps world, this suggestion would give a chance for everyone to vote.

The forums definitely need to be shoved in people's faces more. News & Polls may not be the best way to do that though.

Perhaps a button on the log in screen linking players directly to the forums if not, the latest updates page?

I would actually love to see people being able to vote ingame for things like player reps.
