Currently, from 75-99 you can chop yews or mage logs. The exp rates are fairly low, and i'm afraid they just don't cut it (pun intended) for some people. It might be better to have some more things to chop up for higher level woodcutters. I have two things in mind.
Choking ivyAround level 80 or 85 should be the requirement for these. They grow on walls and can be chopped, however they don't drop any kind of logs. You will still be getting crushed nests though. They should give high exp and cut at a very slow rate, they should also take a long time to cut down completely. These would be the more exp-oriented thing to chop.
Bloodwood treesLevel 90 woodcutting, these trees give a good amount of exp and go down a bit faster than ivy. Their logs can be cut down to bakrimel roots (named bolt shafts in rs but roots in this case, cause I wouldn't want the bolts) these can be used for super combat potions. These potions require 95 herblore and 3 doses of super attack, strength and defense, as well as 1 root to create 3 doses of super combat potion. These will give no additional boost (just like in OSRS), they just save inventory space.
In rs these trees are located in the wilderness, I wouldn't want more people skilling in the wilderness so they would have to be moved. Preferably to edgeville or canifis.
Opinions?
