I disagree, postcount has a lot of advantages to keep the players activity well-considered. however, it still doesn't really interest an amount of normal players.
I don't really know if it has that many "advantages", sure it might have some, but it's not like a forum wouldn't work without having it.
In my opinion it's fine having it for the same reason as Mary mentioned.

Nty, Keeping it or getting rid of it, It won't really change anything at all. So why can't we just keep it.

It's just a number, If you don't like it, You can ignore it.

I disagree.

I like seeing who the top posters are and who has the most online activity etc.

Totally disagree, it's fun to collect post count. Like a wise man said ,,the bigger your postcount the bigger your pen** is"

"But remember, the higher your postcount, the bigger your dick will be "
Wise words. Thus I disagree.

On a serious note, It doesn't really signify anything more than forums activity, and why should that be taken away.

It's dedication, not forum activity.
Go check time spent online.
There is 10 people with everything from 6-12 days on that list.
Then you check out Top 10 Posters.
4 Off the top 10 posters are in the top 10 players spent time online.
And it surprises me that you, who doesnt even have 6 days online got 700++ posts.
That is what i call dedication. You spend all your hours posting on the forums while you are here and nothing else:D
You should recieve an award!
I appreciate the recognition, but the only reasons I even come to the forums are Irfox and messing with staff.

i absolutely agree with this. Same answers are posted over and over again, just to increase the length of your e-penis. rather get a rep+ system. Ye people will go ahead and create new accounts to rep themselves, but fuck off, atlest the forum stays clean.

It gets annoying to see the same answer(s) given by multiple players on the same thread.  That being said, post count does keep a lot of players active on the forums.  We used to have an alternative, but I don't know if it's any better or worse.
  • Post count didn't show under a player's name/avatar
  • Players in certain post-count brackets got titles under their name/avatar
  • Post count could still be monitored via statistics

As much as i see it keeping forums active, it keeps them active in a very fake, unproper way. People are commenting useless threads and replies.

I find it a way of asking for spam and a lot of useless activity.

I assume you can't get a 100 postcount that's why you're suggesting.
jk.

Well, it doesn't really matter, it won't determine how good the player is.
long ago, i've had like 1200+ who cares.

therefore, DISAGREED.

Except when it got to 1000 and that was the highest rank you got. If they're bringing that back, pls raise the bar.
