Hello. So I found this new app in the Playstore that is called "GNURoot". It basically allows you to use LinuxOS on your device. It can run OSRS already, and I think it's possible to make it run emps-world. In my opinion, it'd be a great idea to make it official, but I'm no expert at using the terminal, so it'd be a job for a Linux user to make the tutorial or an official modded GNURoot app. Sorry if this suggestion confuses you, since I'm in a hurry atm. What are your throughts?

Actually, it doesn't require a lot of time at all. You can even run it right now, if you know all the commands to install Java and the emps world client by using the terminal. The script, as far as I know, would take like one week to make (that was the case with Oldschool Runescape on GNURoot, and it was made by two people). So yeah, it's just a suggestion to make it an official way to play.

Plus, since it'd be the first RSPS to do this, maybe we could attract some players that can't use their PC as often, but it's just my throught.

I can't imagine this being in any way enjoyable and for the 2 people that actually might start using this it just isn't worth the effort.

The only problem with that are the controls. With so many control inputs its really difficult to actually play emps or OSRS on a phone. Clicking accurately on a such a small screen is quite difficult.

The app wouldn't probably be used to PvM or to PK, but it could be used to manage your Grand Exchange, to do skilling, and all kinds of not-dangerous stuff. I know it's not a lot, but having that would actually be pretty nice.

Doubt this will work well. The software renderer probably works, but with poor performance. The hardware renderer won't work unless it's a native app. It requires openGL drivers.

Why in the hell would you need/want an extra app for the forums when you can just use a browser? The site works perfectly fine on mobile.

As far as i'm aware Thomy has optimized forums for phone users very well so a seperate app would be useless.

It is already optimized perfectly fpr mobiles. If it's not working well for you it only means your device sucks ass and an app wouldn't fix it.
