Title: Add Corporal Beast.

Corporal Beast

Level: 785 ( Doesn't really matter tbh )

Slayer requirement: NO
Membership: NO
Poisonous: NO
Aggressive: NO ( So that people training slayer in the slayer dungeon won't get randomly killed )
Attack Style: Melee + Mage
Dark Dagger: Required.


Location:  

Varrock Slayer dungeon.

Just need to get rid of the Hobgoblins there and you've got a perfect area to put him in. I don't know about the spike things in the ground, but surely a boss as big as him could walk over them ? :P

Basic combat mechanics of Corporal Beast:

I saw someone else suggest using a Dark dagger to kill some boss , so I'm stealing your idea :) but anyway basically the Corp would use 2 attack styles melee and mage, relatively simple. When first attacking him, he will have like a shadow defensive shield around him which players cannot attack through unless they use a Dark Dagger (Obtained from Smoke Demon) During this shadow shield he is also able to heal.

Corporals Beast special ( The shadow shield thing ) would have a percentage that it may be activated. The percentage would be proportional to Corps health. So as his HP decreases, the percentage chance that he can activate the shield would increase. The percentage could be based on a number out of every certain number of hits. So for example at 100% HP he would have 1/100 chance out of every player hit to him that he would activate the shield. Figuratively speaking, that's only an example, can be much different to that.

All weapons apart from Zamorakian spear would have decreased strength against the Corp, so it is highly advised to use a Zamorakian Spear.

Walking under Corp can also deal massive amounts of damage.

The boss would be un-solable. His magic attack is able to hit everyone killing him and the damage is spread out between players. So the more people you have killing him the less damage dealt to you.

So this boss would be for experienced players. It would be un-solable, so that people have to work in teams to kill the boss which in all honestly is a lot more fun than doing it by yourself.



So... thoughts guys?  :D

This is the "Really" rough Idea I sorta pictured for it. Btw I kinda added the drops just for the hell of it, there kinda just there so don't mind too much what I wrote down in them.

I came up with some of this stuff on the spot, but do you guys think it would be a good idea adding Corporal Beast to the game or nah?

Sigils can be used on a spirit shield to make a stronger and special spirit shield, very much like attaching the hilt to a godsword blade to define what godsword it will be ;)

For adding spirit sigils to the spirit shields we first need spirits shield ingame, right? Now we need to think.. Where should we obtain a spirit shield? :P

I don't know about this one, in my opinion Emps would need more of bosses like KBD was back in the days.
Boss with good drops but also killable for low-levels.

OT: I fully agree with this one, I think it's time for a new boss.
The objects aren't so easily removed. If I remember correctly, Eddie once suggested to remove the gate that split Falador in half. However, Thomy said that this is a complicated thing to do; almost impossible, as far as I'm aware.

because you said you don't want it to be solo-able, i hate team bossing because you can't go whenever you like.

On a 317 its pretty easy.. don't know about this revision though.

if ur additing corp divines etc. u need add vesta statius too. just imagine 3rd  set and divine in wild? who can beat it?

I know what you mean but when you can solo every boss, the game becomes segregated. Everyone begins playing by themselves and don't interact as much and I want to try bring the community together :)

if ur additing corp divines etc. u need add vesta statius too. just imagine 3rd  set and divine in wild? who can beat it?

It doesn't have to be as over powered as it has been in other servers, and plus weapons can be balanced out.

I only added the whole dark dagger idea, just to make the boss a bit more creative and a bit more of a challenge. But yeah it doesn't have to be in there, even without it the boss would still be fun to do.

In my opinion this should not be able to solo, since I don't want the spiritshields to have a low marketvalue.
These should be pretty rare and therefore not easy to obtain.

If so, nobody will risk them at PK..
They should be somehow in the medium..
(not so hard and not so easy to obtain)

You use elixer on a spirit shield to make a "Blessed Spirit Shield" which then you can use on any of the 4 sigils to make the shield of your choose. It's similar to making Godswords with Godsword shards and the hilt.
