After the hunter update it doesn't matter how many bolts you have you can't use them.

I'm unable to reproduce this issue. Are you using a hunter crossbow? If so this now requires kebbit bolts as part of the update.

It's not useless, you can still use Hunter C'bow with Kebbit bolts. :)
