Title: OpenGL - Magic Tree Animation

It doesn't move, but it has this sort of white orb thing around it.

It's one of many visual bugs that are not rightly textured yet. Please do not report visual glitches, they'll be gone with the final client release ;)
Anything that has a white plane in it falls under these visual glitches.
