Title: Multi Core SERIOUS BUG
Post by: Cman 8 23 93 on April 25, 2015, 12:37:55 am
I tried using Multi-Core and it gave me a black screen. I had to force close Emps and now whenever I load Emps World, it
says the application wont respond. It wont let me back in the game. Tomtim1 don't worry!!! I will find a way! lol

UPDATE: I can log in, but it says "Not Responding" at the top. All I get is a light brown screen and I can hear my guy killing
Dragons. WTF man??? I have TomTims stuff and I don't wanna lose it!

You can delete the opengl.dat file in your emps cache folder, which is located here: C:/Users/YOUR_USER/.emps_world/667/opengl.dat
If you can't find that file, I recommend uninstalling the game: https://emps-world.net/uninstall

Regarding the freeze on your computer, do you know what processor you got? The amount of cores would also be sufficient. I'd like to find out why it crashes on your system.

I found another solution. I fixed it by using Classic instead of OpenGL. Multi-core isn't available on Classic so I was able to go in an un-check it for OpenGL.

And I have a AMD E1-1200 Processor :)

That's actually a really good idea. You can always disable it in the classic mode!

Nonetheless, I would like the option to be disabled for your type of processor. I've added some code that should stop you from activating it. Can you restart your client in openGL mode and see if the option is automatically disabled now and if you can't enable it again?
