Title: map loading lag spikes.

i've died in wilderness several times because of it, even though the map is loaded already, and you've been in that area several times already, it still lags for a few seconds, and you aren't able to do shit then, that includes NOT EATING WHEN SOMEONE ATTACKS YOU.

Can you show me a video of it? What's your average fps rate in the wilderness? Loading a new map will take some time and can cause lag.

my pc is shit, it'd probably crash if i would use some recording software, it usually happens when you run through the place where kolodion was back in emps scape.

great... not i fucking lagg every 3 steps i take and i died shit tons of time because of it.
fix your damn map loading.

Try to reduce Rendering Distance via game settings, also disable ground decoration and animated textures. Can you show me your game settings?

I would switch to widescreen mode, because that can utilize the VBO mode (fps improvement). If that doesn't work out, decrease your RD.
