Title: Game Crashes when I minimize window (opengl)
Post by: Icecloud on April 11, 2015, 11:36:02 pm
Whenever I minimize the game window when using the opengl client my game crashes. I like to browse reddit when I'm at GWD in a boss room so this kinda sucks for me whenever I accidentally do it. alt-tabbing does it too.

Is it possible that you have 2 GPUs, a chip and a bigger graphics card? Do you get an error when the client crashes?

It only happens on my laptop without a gpu that uses integrated graphics. I didn't get an error

I've updated the client to display a better crash report. Can you try to restart it and see if minimizing throws you a decent error report now?

I didn't get a crash report from the client. I'm not getting an error message that would indicate it but something similar used to happen when using Sony Vegas Pro and the error your "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered." It could be that but it doesn't recover so I'm not sure.

If the same thing happens with other programs, it may not be an emps related issue? Can you try updating your graphics drivers to ensure they are up to date?
