Title: Farming patches in Catherby

So this bug just randomly happened to me.

Doing ::reloadmap makes it even worse:

Relogging fixes the issue.

Mud patches are disappearing and ::reloadmap makes it even worse.

Are you able to reliably reproduce this problem somehow? I don't seem to get the bug in any way.

It has never happened to me, so it's really difficult to track down the issue. Can you try to mess around to find some way that might produce the problem?
