This isn't a serious bug because it only works for watering cans. This watering can duplication only works if you're farming anything near two patches, while both patches require you to water the herb/tree (though I don't think there are two tree patches in one spot).
In example: say you're farming for Ranarrs in both patches in Camelot, and you get lucky because both patches require you to water them in order to keep the herbs healthy and growing. (This is when the dupe comes in) If you want this to work easily, stand far away from one patch you're going to water. Then click "use" the watering can ( 8 ), and any amount of watering can works (except an empty one obv.), onto the herb patch. While you're running towards the herb patch you're about to water, quickly click on the watering can ( 8 ) again, and wait until you water the first herb patch you clicked. After you watered it, just click on the second herb patch and you should have managed to dupe your watering can.
This bug has been around for a long time, so sorry if someone has already posted this and if this bug has been fixed. I was too lazy to post this back then and I am bored with nothing to do right now which is why I made this.
