i was playing on wolrd 2 and everything started to react slow to my commands (eat food/re-equip armor while doing chaos elemental/etc) so i pinged 8.8.8.8 in cmd to check if it was something wrong with my connection (we have had problems with our ISP many times before so it wasn't impossible that it was my connection.) i got an average ping on 11ms. i died and returned to GE where i met another player who also had connection issues. (i did manage to get my items back but it was very difficult because the world was still really really slow.)
can anyone please explain what happened here?

According to the server logs there was no lag on our side, so we can already exclude a bug in the code.
Most likely the connectivity at some point was bad, maybe packet drops. To find that out, we have to analyze your network connection to the emps server though. I see that the connection to google's nameserver is good, but that doesn't have to mean that the connection to the emps server is good. It's likely, but not guaranteed. Can you try to ping emps-world.net next time this happens? maybe also try 'tracert emps-world.net' which yields some more information.
Thank you.

i will definetly do what i can to help fixing this issue. i know i am not the only one who had this error, and it would be a shame if someone lost really good gear to it. i'll update the thread with more info when/if any becomes available.
