Sorry for annoying, Thomy, but again after I fix saw this.
When you equip santa ring, you are looking like santa, but when you try to equip capes, rings, legs and so on..
You just return to normal. Here's what i mean:

Tell me if I'm annoying you with visual and other bugs, i can stop looking for :P

It's supposed to be like that. Why would you want to equip an item anyway while wearing santa ring?

Hmmm.. What if I take santa ring and full 3rd age mage set or another mage set? I would look like santa and still can be a good barrager. Santa ring is made to make you look like santa.

The santa ring will not be adjusted. So you would want the ring to unequip all your currently equipped items?
