When you have your map scrolled all the way out, and all the way up, you can't see anything, the ceiling is in the way.

I'm sorry, but I can't suggest anything else, but to not zoom out too far in this cave. The ceiling you see is the ground floor of the barrow crypts. If I remove it, the crypts have no floor. :(
