This is my first guide so any suggestions or things I may be missing would be appreciated!
First of all, getting there! The Grand Exchange is at the *GASP* Grand Exchange tele found under the quest tab to the left of your inventory tab (Backpack).
Next you can go to either of the two pens found below.
You can bank, open the ge "exchange" or talk to the Clerk.
Members have 6 Slots and Non-Members can only use 1-3, another great advantage to donating for a members ticket or buying one In-Game!
You now have two options, first, Buying because everyone loves to spend money.
1.)Click the buy option that you have open after clicking "exchange" on the clerk
2.)Then begin typing the name of the item you would like to purchase
3.)Click on it when you see it in the chatbox, make sure to check that you've selected the right one! (TOP LEFT)
4.)Now select how many you would like on the left under quantity, you can use the preset numbers, the "..." for a custom amount or the plus or minus to go down one or up one!
5.)Select the price you would like to pay with the "..." again, plus/minus, or use the +/-5% until you are happy!
6.)Check over everything one more time and hit Confirm Offer
NOTE:At any time you can hit the back button at the bottom left or close out of the ge in the top right, UNTIL YOU HIT CONFIRM!
Next how to Sell items to get some more money!
1.)Click the sell option
2.)Select the item you would like to sell by clicking it in your inventory.
3.)Quantity and Pricing are the same as before
4.)Hit confirm after checking one more time!
Collecting!
My dragon bones have sold so now I can collect them, just click on the items picture!
Then click on the coins that are now yours! If my buy offer was complete then the item would be in the left box to collect, if there were any spare coins that were not used to fill the order then they would be returned on the right!
Cancelling
IF YOU DO NOT CHECK BEFORE CONFIRMING AN OFFER YOU CAN ALWAYS CANCEL IT AT THE RISK OF IT COMPLETING IMMEDIATELY OR BEFORE YOU CANCEL IT.
To cancel an offer just click on the buy or sell offer you placed then click the red X at the bottom right and your item or coins will be returned. As you can see here, I have cancelled the buy offer and the coins have been returned for me to claim.
Again, If I'm missing anything that you all would like included then please drop a reply and I will add it! I know this may not be needed for everyone but to anyone that possibly might, I hope it helps!!
