How about some kind of skilling backpack instead? Wearable in wings slot. It would work the same way as tool belt so no difference in that, just gives you something to wear.
It would contain all the basic tools used in skilling: fishing equipment (would still have to carry bait), tinderbox, hammer, farming tools (magic watering can?), knife, needle etc.. probably forgot something but you get the idea. Spade? How does that work with clues?

Tools like hatchets and pickaxes should not be included in it though.

"Operate" option while wearing it could handle it for the clues or other cases.

It would be mostly the same thing as a toolbelt, would take mostly the same effort to implement to the game.
Actually spade could just be excluded from it, I feel like it gets too complicated and the situations where you use spade doesn't make sense with the operate option; clue scrolls, quests, planting trees and digging up trees and herbs(?).
Tool belt being a "skilling backpack" was just an idea to make it an actual wearable item instead of it being something invisible or an item you just hold in your inventory. It could be sold in the EP shop so lvl 3 skillers are able to get it as well.

Ohh. I thought of the belt the same way as a backpack would, so a wearable item, which you can actually see.

Sounds interesting. Id change being able to add the blast fusion hammer to regular hammer. I think if u want more smithing xp it should be worth to sacrifice that 1 inv slot for it. On top of that, could also add a tinder box, rake and a saw.

Tbh i think it would be a huge thing to implement tho, probably alot alot of coding, so definitely not a top priority for Thomy

Actually it wouldn't take more half an hour to write from scratch, atleast I think I would be able to.
Would also have to code crafting without chisel or needle in inv/fming without tinderbox in inv and etc. Making the item itself is not the problem

It would include that too, it's not hard at all.
Modeling the item and make the rig  would take a little bit more.

Hey there, glad to see you decide to join playing emps again. You've got alot to catch up on the update notes and new stuff/features :D

Also didnt know that you like beatboxing :p Beatboxing is an amazing thing

Not only I like it but I'm quite experienced at it too :P

Naah, it's not that much as for now, I still didn't see anything tho lol, the biggest change for me is currency, I struggle a lot with it

Hello everyone,

I have logged in yesterday almost after two years, wanted to see how was Emps doing, if it changed somehow and how's the stuff going in the community.

I had some good time I'd say. Back in 2016 I've gave away my whole bank, i guess it was something like 500M+ and left myself only with untradeables and some basic gear, like dragon.

I had good time because there was a guy that wanted to help me somehow to get back on my foot and he was so friendly. And because or him I the decision of coming back to Emps. Just wanted to thank him for giving me a warm welcome :)

I already have my introduction and farewell in these links:

OSRS developers are doing an amazing work to communicate with the community, they let know everything about updates and even let players to choose if they want to see a feature added in-game or not.

I don't say Thomy should do exactly like them but it would be nice to see some notes on how it is going with the game updates or whatever he's doing, what is he working on, and maybe sometimes let us choose if we would like to see a feature he thought of to be implemented(obviously I said sometimes, not every update/feature he's planning to do.).

I think this would make some people to come back(including myself), as they can see the evidence of the fact that our developer does care about our beloved server.

good luck on whatever you are aiming for in real life, and goodbye bro,(even though I don't know you that much but yeh)

Thank you, I don't think you're talking about me("the good ones" lol) but that's okay, it makes me feel happy somehow.

Time came for me to say goodbye to Emps, as most of you I've spent my best years over here but all good things come to the end.

The reason I'm quitting Emps is lack of interest/motivation in playing, it became really monotobous and boring. 200 players became 70, staff are leaving, forums are dying and all that stuff. I still have some hope for it after summer, who knows.

Anyways, today I've logged in just to see whats up and take my decision to give back to Emps things that belong to Emps. I've hosted my whole bank giveaway, in forms of drop parties, trivia, spam game and HNS. It was nice for few moments have some power, people following you, spam trading, tons of Pms and all that stuff.

Just want to say a special thanks to Blade Fiery, you're an awesome guy. Since the first time I've met you to our last "cya" you were so cool and friendly. Take care of Emps as much as your powers allow you to do so. (We'll hit up on skype :p)

I might come back but for now that's the end of my journey in Emps-World.Goodbye to everyone and enjoy your time playing.

Beershake.
