Fletching = ez rune arrows, bolts, etc.
Agility = infinite run and shortcuts
Thieving = fastest herb seeds in the whole game
Hunter = pets, rabbit feet for strung rabbit foot necklaces

All those skills add something to the game, especially for ironmen, unlike firemaking. You cannot even cook a full inventory of food on a fire before it burns out.

Your right about those things you can do in the skill, just pointing out that i dont find these skills very usefull

and for agi you get infinite run by being a premium member :)

Talking about useless skills, what would Woodcutting be without firemakeing? yea you could make a few bows in fletching, but that would really fast become useless too. While we are talking about useless skills, i think we should mention a few of the others ?

Agility: litterally the only use you have for this is if you wanna go at karamja agi post and gain the tickets.
And ofc climbing over a few obstacles, shouch as climbing over a wall for a shortcut in barb dung

Theiving: You can farm seeds, which is pretty useless if you dont wanna do farming (most seeds tho are obtained other ways)

Hunter: I remember lvling up hunter, i also remember the insane amount of dropping while catching those salamanders.

My point by saying this is, even tho skills might be boring and not having any proper use, their in the game and it makes the game better. i dont wanna see people be able to earn the max cape easier then it already is

When im doing my max cape emote, instead of transforming into a dragon my character starts to kneel. After kneeling a sec my character turns small, and the emote ends with my character getting on his feets aigan and returning to the normal size.

I highly dissagree to this, you can get from 1-99 firemakeing in a few hours, no reason to make it easier.

It's also a completely useless skill.

To best honest, there is alot of skills which only serves a very small purpose, wouden't mind seeing the 10% hp buff you could get from firemakeing. Just dont think that it should be easier then it is to lvl it up.

Well, therefor it could still be buffed and be the favored amulet for pvm, this would make it's price go up since there isen't alot Fury (T's) in the game, and a few improved stats wouden't move the balance in Pk  ::)

Couden't agree more with you, currently the hardest/2nd hardest amulet in the game is totally useless.
In order to obtain the 3rd age amulet you have to defeat these monsters below, and it's dropped with a drop rate of 1-1000 (atleast that is what the wiki says)
Revenant orcs
Revenant demons
Revenant hellhounds
Revenant cyclopes
Revenant werewolves
Revenant vampyres

To be fair i see the Revenant monsters almost as hard as kalphite queen it self, and i think you should be awarded for risking gear out in the wilderness.
So to the point. The 3rd age amulet should be great for defense and eventually be made a hybrid necklace just like the amulet of glory, but abit stronger. Stat wise i would go for +10 in each attack bonus and either the same amount of defence bonus as the Amulet of glory (T)

I would also like to see the Fury (T) get a use instead of just being a cosmetic item.
Just as the Amulet of Strenght, Amulet of Magic and Amulet of glory have improved versions of themselfs, However, i know this amulet would prob be really strong, but afterall it's a Amulet of fury (T) Shouden't it be strong ?

Really interesting read, thank you! I think the main conflict with ancient items is, that they are too easy to obtain and to maintain.

I'd recommend following changes:
  • Corrupt parts drop chances 1.6% --> 1.2%
  • Normal parts drop chances: 1.2% --> 0.8%
  • Double repair costs
  • Corrupt parts charges halved
  • Spectral combat power buff

Thoughts on the possible changes?

my suggestion would be to add them as a slayer monster (to be able to defeat them you would need a lvl of 85 in slayer or above) As they already is one of the mobs which gives the highest xp each kill this would be fair, their currently giveing 2394 xp each kills which is also as high as bosses.
