Description:
Imps have come to Emps-World to celebrate Christmas! They come with a challenge, will you be able to find them all?

Directions:
There are 6 Snow imps scattered across Emps-World, you must find them all in order to win. This miniquest can be started by the Head snow imp south of the Grand Exchange. Once you've found all make a screenshot of the final item and post it here. You must hurry, only the first 5 winners will be rewarded!

Rules:
- Please take a screenshot of your full client, edited screenshots will not be counted.
- There are no hints for this event, please don't ask for them.

Reward:
1st place: 50 Double experience scrolls
2nd place: 25 Double experience scrolls
3rd place: 15 Double experience scrolls
4th place: 5 Double experience scrolls
5th place: 5 Double experience scrolls

Description: The Queen of Snow has lost her star baubles and needs your assistance retrieving them! Would you be kind enough to find them for her and save her Christmas from being a utter failure?

Directions: The Queen of Snow has dropped her star baubles in five different locations, speak to her and she will give you hints on where to find them. Once you have retrieved all the star baubles, take a screenshot and post it on this thread to receive your reward. You must be quick though, only the first 20 winners will receive a reward!

Note: You must walk into a 2x2 area to obtain the star bauble, you won't be able to see it on your mini-map!

Rules:
- Please take a screenshot of the whole client, otherwise catch me in-game and I will check your inventory myself.
- You can only win once, using alts to win multiple times will not be allowed.

this is world 3 right?

That is correct, everything in the screenshot was dropped by Nex.

btw this is very good exaple what i should expect from nex basic drops, thnx.

Main purpose of this is to give the players a general idea of what kind of drops to expect at 1,000 kills and might do this for most bosses.

Fantastic! Personally I would prefer the event to happen inside of actual wilderness thus also risking gear being used. Safe wilderness provides too big of a comfort zone and gear difference due to lack of risk.

even though I do understand your concerns.. the reason I choose to do it in safe wild is because it will attract more participants to the event. Usually PvP tournaments aren't that fun due to most players will teleport away anyway once they run out of food.

This could be avoided in an instance in 20+ wilderness though?

This will just turn out really bad because players will just start attacking each other without permission and will lead up to a load of complaints and item recovery tickets because players will just argue that they tried to participate in the event but were attacked by other participants that weren't assigned for them to battle. I would like to avoid such things and keep it fun for everyone.

Hello, everyone! Welcome to the second installment of the one and only tag team pvp tournament! Grab a partner and join the action! Will you be able to show everyone that you're the most dominate team of Emps-World?

Date/Time:
Saturday, November 10th, 2018
1PM EST

Venue:
Al-Kharid safe wild

Rules:
- Please don't start your match unless you're told to do so.
- Do not attack players/teams that you're not assigned to battle, failure to comply will get you kicked out of the server for the duration of the event.
- if you're dq'd from the event due to losing your match, please respect others and don't attack them, this will also result in you getting kicked out of the server for the duration of the event.
- Please follow staff members orders, we're there to ensure the success of this event and to make it fun for you all.

Reward:
1st place: Each member of the winning team will be rewarded 50m coins and 1 event ticket. Ironman accounts will receive 5 Event tickets instead of the 50m coins.
2nd Place: 1 event ticket for each member of the runner up team.

I aint really up to date with shit but don't you need membership to enter Al-Kharid? What new players would buy membership before being a high combat anyway?

We actually removed restrictions on places from membership, players can go wherever they want now without being a member. Locking certain areas for members is so rs and doesn't fit in a rsps.

Emps-World: Enchantment System

Reason behind implementing such system:
The purpose of implementing such system is to sink items and coins in the game.

How does the enchantment system work?
Player uses item on mage, a dialogue appears with 2 following options.

Option 1: Would you like to exchange the item for enchantment points?
Option 2: Would you like to upgrade your item?

If player chooses option 1, the mage will say “this item will be exchanged for (x amount) of enchantment points” and the player will have the option to agree or disagree with the exchange. The enchantment points given to the player will depend on the rarity of the item being exchanged.

If player chooses option 2, the mage will say it will cost (x amount of enchantment points and x amount of coins to upgrade this item) The amount of enchantment points and coins depend on the rarity of the item being upgraded. The mage will warn the player that (x item) has a (1%-100% success rate and if it fails they will lose the item they’re trying to upgrade, enchantment points, and coins if the enchantment process fails) and the player will have the option to agree or disagree with the exchange (success rate depends on the rarity of the item being upgraded). The item being upgraded will become slightly stronger or receive a unique ability and a golden aura to show that the item is upgraded if the process is successful. We can also make the upgraded item degradable so it still works as a money sink down the road. (This is up for discussion just throwing out a general idea)


Items that can be upgraded
- Armor pieces (Platebody, Platelegs, Shield, Helm)
- Boots
- Gloves
- Capes
- Amulets
- Weapons
- Rings

So how does this help the community and avoid inflation?
- Players will use many items in exchange for enchantment points thus removing them from the game.
- Players will exchange enchantment points and coins for a ‘chance’ to upgrade their item which serves as an item sink and a money sink.
- Player fails to upgrade item, restarts the process over and removes more items from the game.

Think of it like the invention skill in rs.
destroy items -> get components -> use components to make perks for armor, weapons and tools
but this is more like the emps version

All this is up for discussion though, feel free to add your ideas!

I would prefer making the boss's combat stats scale depending on how much players enter the boss room. This way its also fair for players that try to solo the boss.

Description
Participants will be given a list of items, they must obtain all the items on the list and return them to the host to win the event. Will you be able to gather all the items quicker than everyone else, we shall see.
