Because the entire donation system is set up that way?
Having one item which lets you be generous to other users isn't a bad thing.
Like I said in the post, some users would like an item like this.
If you randomly got gifted one of these, say a high level one and got tons of rune ore -- would you be mad?
Hell even if you got a low level one and got a bunch of coal I'm sure you wouldn't mind.
In the end, the person purchasing this should expect nothing in return.
As for those getting gifts, I don't really think people will be complaining at getting free stuff.
Be it resources for them to sell / use in training up or a nice cosmetic / rare find.
I think there should be a guaranteed donator rare of 575 or lower DP with every bomb. That way it's still worth something, having 99% skilling supplies is nothing
That said, I think the player representatives would just be another step in the chain of being able to talk to the ones that really matter. I think a weekly AMA from let's say thomy, martin or whoever else you'd like to talk to to deal with things, would work out just fine. A topic where every player if he really wants to, can leave a message to thomy, and thomy can choose if he wants to deal with it or not. It's a common concept amongst mayors and other leaders of civilizations to have a open consult one day each week for example, to talk to his 'citizens', no matter how small or stupid the issue is.

Jokes aside, I can't promise updates on a scheduled cycle as a single person. Emps is already a pretty big game with plenty of things to do. I try my best to roll in at least one update a week and so far I haven't missed that goal often.
I hope you do understand, that I can't just hold a casting for new developers and expect them to deliver quality game content within their first week? Emps has grown big and so has its code. It's not a project you'll immediately understand and be able to work with. Besides... who trusts random people on the Internet? It's not easy to find people developing good content. To be totally honest, I'm also not looking for any, because imho it brings more complications than benefits in the current situation. Besides... you know what hiring a programmer costs!? Maybe things change when our community grows even bigger. We're already on a pretty good way, steady player increases every week this summer!
Your link to the argument of ignorance wikipedia page isn't well placed imo.The existence of God isn't proven.It.is.thought.by.millions.of.religous.people.that.god.is.explainable.when.you.dont.have.anything.to.go.off.fromYou.dont.need.to.say."chaos.theory".to.explain.that.you.cant.accurately.predict.every.single.thing.Where did I say that chaos theory is proof for the existence of god ?

It is thought by a lot of scientist that everything is predictable if you have the right formula
The imposibility of the existence of God isn't proven aswell.
This counts for unicorns too, doesn't mean it makes sense to believe in them.

As long as religious people can't prove god exists, it's fine for me to say that he doesn't.
Saying 'there is no evidence that god DOESN'T exist hurr durr' doesn't really help
I never said that god exists because it isn't proven that he doesn't exist, I said that there is a possibility of him existing and that noone can say with 100% certainty that he doesn't exist.
---> atheists should stop insulting the believers
the main question here is "What even helpdesk is?" :kappa:It isn't.
