Problem with mage vs melee is the whole freezing thing. He never mentioned freezing
As some people want it to be, mage should perma freeze anything in melee armour, and it should just die, not matter what.
I think mage is fine as it is, freezing is already too good against melee.
I am not going to add more skilling supplies to NPCs just to prevent ruining skilling for profit. If i do that, PvM will be the way to go to play Emps in the most efficient way.So how can you obtain potato cactus and wine of zamorak with skilling
If you have other suggestions, be my guest!
Why don't you guys learn to fight real PK'ers instead of PvM'ers in full dragon or black d'hide? Your runes will cost more than the loot that you get from those guys, so it's not even worth killing them. When I said team pking I meant team pking.why not make spectrals multyzone then?Agree. I mean, the pvmers risk like nothing and usually they die anyways.
This would make team pking a lot more alive
''PKing''
So you can't deal with one guy killing Spectrals alone?
I consulted with Deandam7 about this in game, but it's still a very rough idea:I think in that way the people who get the drop would just make them into pots because they need them to boss. This would still leave other people who don't kill the bosses without ingredients. I remember gathering herb ingredients being a job for low-level players.
- Add large (noted) ingredient drops to bosses. For example, add a rare/uncommon drop of 50-100 wines of Zamorak to K'ril Tsutsaroth's drop table.
If we were to run with this, we would first have to establish which ingredients are lacking and how much potions should roughly be worth (do we want ranging potions to be 30k or 100k?), and we would need to balance the estimated volume that would be added to the game with the current volume of other ingredients in order to avoid any price crashes.
This is a rough idea of things that we'd need to consider; balancing drop tables takes some extensive planning.
