Mary, if you guys dont want dead content then dont make wildy dead, add more monsters into wild, its players own risk if they go there and on main grounds
Example add mithril dragons to wild so ppl who are not member can go there and its theyre own risk if they get killed, We (me, Pulokas2, Pavilion, Knights, Crusher123, Shadoweye) dont like it when wild is dead, we loved to be in old emps wild bcause there was kolodion and alot of ppl were killing it, my suggsestion is to add bosses to wild : http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Wilderness

Wilderness is a battle ground of Gods, so it would make sence if it was full of monsters / bosses, only thing ppl go to wild is Revs, spectrals, green drags, wildywyrm, ice strkykwyrm, agility course (no riskers), Chaos elemental, but we need more mosnters there, example some parts of wilderness are completely empty
*All white spots are where players dont go and where is no monsters worth killing, *all red spots are where u might bearly find ppl OR theres something to kill

and if you look at middle and right side of the map u see its almsot completely deserted all activity takes place in top of wild or left side..

What im thinking of is to make wild more active, example add some kind of boss into wilderness volcano that has ton of minions to help him which would requir atleast 3-5 ppl to kill
*and the clan wars place u should make it active, add clan wars into the game both Safe and Non safe modes
*to the ruins and graveyard you should add some kind of boss like Giant mole?
*to the red dragon island you should add some kind of strong dragons example mithril dragons which have abit higher drop rate of z spear and includes dragon *hasta, to the volcano right-top side of the map you should add some kind of zamorak boss that is stronger then chrozon or whatever the boss is called ontop of the slayer tower
*to the lava maze you should add revenants or what you think would be nice
*and near the lava maze where is still a bit snow add some saradomin boss
*i reccomended saradomin boss and zamorak bosses bcause wilderness is battleground of Zamorak and Saradomin, so why not add them ?
*and rest of the white spots idk, you decide, we pkers want ppl in wild :) more monsters.
*and mary youre 3d pro <3 make somekind of Monster , doesnt have to look too detailed, if its too detailed it will take u long to make and its gonna get harder i think, or find some monster 3D prints from some site and make em to right size and add to the game :)

Ofc you guys want more content in wild, so you have more places to roam to... You're the reason why nobody goes to wild to pvm, it already shows that in mainly rev cave, chaos elemental and wilderness wyrms etc etc
Only ones who ever visit most pvm places (excluding spectrals cause one drop makes it worth risking there) are roaming high level mage mains

Lore: in emps we don't have the same lore as RS, it is of no use in emps and we're not gonna follow it. It's just copying content and I really don't want to.


About your points:

Clan wars is NOT VIABLE in a ~200 player server.
We have NO items to add to a potential new boss to make it worth fighting (see chaos elemental).
There are already mithril dragons for non members
Revenants high wild are not viable if theyre not even viable in lv 20-25
We got GWD and see my previous notes about bosses, also we really got enough bosses for a ~200 player server.
Other monsters in wild will just be there to fill up (greater demons/black unicorns/scorps/green dragons whatever) and not actual viable content

Lava maze and reddragon isle are way too high and unreachable to actually put viable content there, it's not viable to go there in RS either. Clan wars area is unreachable and you can just count it as a black space. Even if its active it would be a safe area.

We'll prolly add some cool greater demons and hellhounds to wilderness volcano but it's probably not worth fighting there, just to fill it up.
I agree, Pavilion, Knights, Pulokas and Purple are always in the wilderness
Along with Huh I Own's team.

Corp beast is going to be a dead content soon, everyone is camping @ lassar.

I prefer adding more bosses to survival content.

Plus you said that wilderness is dead cause of no PVM monsters in there, When emps shut down, the forum managed to hit over 1.5k players ONLINE on the forums....And when it got up again, not alot of people came back, half of my friend list are always offline, and you can see so many people quitting the server right now,Mostly likely cause of College/Uni issues and also you don't expect getting every single player back to the game.
first of all were not always in wild
second its our only moneymaking method
third were in wild on rare occasions
fourth we go wild when we get a pm from our scouters and then we come to wild
we havnt been in wild for like 5 days now as team

PS; if u dont like us in wild why not just make suggestion that they should remove wild for good...
and if u want to make risk fights add some kind of thing to duel arena so ppl can make risk fights 1v1 winner gets enemys loots transfermed automaticly into bank

Hello, I'll make this short.

-A range tank (99hp/99range/78def/44pray) is 97 combat.
-They have acces to the best range weapons and armor (morrigan's/god bows/) in the game.
-Which means they have, as the name suggests, very high defense but also incredible dps.
-I don't know the max hit of a zamorak/saradomin bow, but it is somewhere between 45 and 50.
-Bows hit faster than all the melee weapons.
-Melee builds that are around the same level have stats similar to this: 75 att/99str/40def/99hp/43pray)
-When these 2 accounts fight (both using the best weapons and armor), the melee account stands almost no chance.
-1; Because of the high defense and defense bonus of the ranger, the melee account will 0 relatively frequently.
-2; Because of the low defense and defense bonus of the melee account, the ranger will hit almost no 0 at all.
-This results into the ranger comboing the shit out of the melee guy with rapid and frequent high hits, which then results into an eating fest for the melee guy giving him almost no opportunity to fight back.
-Yes the melee guy can dish out a lot of damage quickly (for example dragon claws) but finding an opening to use them is difficult when all you do is eat.

My conclusion: bows have too much dps when used by range tanks which results into an unfair fight.

Not exactly, you can rush him even if he didn't start/finish a fight, it's all about the speed of your moves and shit, check Ty 4 U Santa pk vid 9, the intro is based on rushing clips. Hopefully you'll get it.
I died when I saw that 42-80 at the beginning there....whoa.

So I recently tried deep wilderness pking with TB and bind and all that crap. And apart from the usual frustrations such as getting stuck behind every freaking obstacle, randomly stopping moving and having to be withing like 5 steps of someone to attack, I came across this ridiculous feature that just blew my mind. Why the fuck do I have to wait for my target to load the damn game before I can attack him or her?! I tried binding someone from far away but then this message popped up and I didn't even run towards my target which ended up in his escape. If people can't load the game fast enough why do I have to be punished for that. Seriously it's utter bullshit.

Range is OP on pures.

Now since most of you are most likely unfamiliar with pking, let me briefly explain why.

A very common pure build is the 50 or 60 attack pure. It maxes out every other combat skill and it's combat level varies from 75-83. With this comes a big limitation; you can only use weapons up to dragon (or worse). There are 3 viable melee weapons: dragon scimitar, dragon dagger, granite maul. (yes pures have acces to the pvp weapons too but I won't mention those since it doesn't really change the situation) Now the dragon scimitar isnt a very powerful weapon. In the hands of one of these pures it can hit approximately 38. I'm obviously not taking into account the max strength bonus for pures because very few players are willing to pk with that. Now let's talk about range. Since these pures can have 99 range as well they have acces to the most powerful bow, the zamorak bow. Using this bow pures can hit approximately 38 as well. Again not taking into account max range strength. Semms balanced right? Well it would be if both weapons had the same attack speed, but they don't. Bows hit quite a bit faster, thus the bow easiliy outdamages the scimitar. And range has another advantage over melee in general; you can attack from a distance. Now let's cut back to the other weapons: the dragon dagger and granite maul. These weapons can be very powerful but are only viable when using the special attack. A dragon dagger can hit 60's in a welfare set-up and the granite maul can hit even higher, up to 90. But the problem is, these weapons can only do that when using the special attack, whilst the zamorak bow can hit frequent high hits all the time. It even has a special effect dealing some extra damage every now and then. And pures have acces to a very powerful range special attack too, the dark bow. The dark bow can hit up to 70 and is very accurate.

My point is: range outclasses melee by a lot when it comes to doing damage without the use of a special attack on mid level pures.

How to fix this? I have no clue.
