Correct. Minigames are incredibly rewarding for ironmen starting off. It would be much more of a challenge if they would have to earn these items in a different way. I would actually like to see that, but that's a subject for another topic.

My personal opinion is that everything is fine as it is. Let people play the game as they want, whether they like to give themselves free tickets and/or dxp scrolls. Different people can enjoy playing the game in a numerous different ways, there's no denying that.

Charr's trying to argument his points from competitive perspective, and I personally don't give a fuck about that. There's no way of ''fixing the competition'' after this long time, especially the combat XP rates have been halved since the release. Then there's the obvious advantage you get from donations. People who started ironman on release were also able to get free dxp scrolls with EP.

If you want some competitive skilling shit added to the game, Charr, go suggest some seasonal shit which is based on base xp rates or resources gathered/used. That's how it's actually fair for everyone.

You can still donate for tickets and scrolls and you've done nothing ingame to deserve those. Being able gift that shit is fair for everyone regardless of their IRL wealth.

If we disable gifting these items for ironmen, donations should be disabled completely for ironmen as well.

Ironman mode is nowhere near similar mode to normal accounts. You get everything by yourself still, thats the main point of the gamemode.

So if I give you 500 dxp scrolls you will have earned them yourself? On what planet?

If YOU out of all people actually gave somebody ANYTHING, that person must have done something pretty fucking significant to earn that.

So in short, I disagree with increasing amount of cash flowing through pickpocketing. Rates of gp are decent and thieving supposedly should benefit player to the point where you getting higher thieving level means decrease chance of having been caught.

The rates are absolutely horrendous. I think 100-200k is an overstatement. Heroes at 80 thieving give less than 200 gp on successful pickpocket and the rate you fail at that is ridiculous. Of course you wouldn't even know what you're talking about :LUL:

It seems people are missing what I'm getting at. I will attempt to clarify better.

In the current state of ironman mode, you can gain a massive advantage from real life wealth by simply donating for GA tickets and DXP. The easy step of making things fair for everyone is to make DXP and GA tickets tradeable. This would still require the ironmen to earn more alch money than they would have needed otherwise, which can actually be harder than just gathering the supplies. The trading should only be allowed through Grand Exchange, though, to eliminate gifting of these items as much as possible.

This is what I would want. Currently ironmen can be gifted dxp scrolls and all that. They should only be able to get them through the GE.

The GE or donating should be the only way for them to acquire the scrolls.

Dxp scrolls shouldn't even be a thing. If we're downgrading the game that much we might as well go back to scape graphics and release os-emps.

I'm just going to disregard every single suggestion made by you mentioning the words 'competition', 'disadvantage', 'advantage' and 'unfair' for some obvious reason everyone here knows.

Competition in this game is fucking dead and there's no way of changing that since dxp enters the game through donations. It could be helped with bringing dxp weekends back so that everyone has the same number of hours of dxp available per week no matter their wealth irl or in game. If that's out of the question, then don't bother at all cuz the system would just get destroyed even further.

Some people struggle reading certain fonts i.e if they're italicized or the text is in weird font, have certain color blindness or the text is near same color as the background (Green-red or red-green being the most common one afaik)

Don't think it's needed at all tbh; because absolutely nobody has ever complained or said anything about it. I don't think even Jagex has an option for people with color blindness.

Oh ye, it looks pretty annoying atm. I agree.

Sure why not.

I'd rather not go back to the single infinite tab, tabs make stuff easier to access.

I'd like an option for both. I would prefer to have all 4 dose pots, food, teles and runes along with all combat gear in a single tab but that exceeds the 100 item limit we currently have. Loot and skilling tabs are another big ones. 4th for cosmetics and the rest I would put in a single tab of random shit.
