Well i agree with most of them but about :
1)the cash drop it have 2 sides :
A)prices will get a lot higher cause players won't care if they more cause they have a lot of cash
B)prices will get horribly down because most of players will be having a good gear and supplies and have the ability to kill the bosses a lot and get rare drops
Solve : making the cash drop 250k-500k
2)the area with you and the boss ...
Well it destroy the fun of killing the boss with players and you are the only one who will get the items (no one else will) so the game will be having a lot of good items and the prices will go down , and what about god wars dungeon...
Solve : don't do it
3)farming already gives a lot of herbs.. But it's nice to add something eatable (not more than 1-3)

I refuse to pay 300m for an armadyl godsword, so I would like to see the prices drop especially for the ridiculous amounts everything is going for.
Also there's enough areas for people to team up with, in the end of course the rare drops will take time, making more resourceful items used up and having the demand go up so people can go out their to kill those npcs for cash in selling them or making them. It's about creating that demand.

If you have a boss only you can kill, wouldn't it motivate you to try and kill it?
This happened with jad but there's only one benefit that comes out of it, just a fire cape. But people will still attempt it and use those supplies.
If you introduce a boss you can teleport out of and get a pretty decent amount of drops, you'll not only realize that on emps-world we only have 2 worlds, but that people will have a chance all together to make money. It's not about being selfish, it's about every individual user having the ability to be successful and to get ahead in the game if you work on your stats towards doing so. This is the motivation of it, this is what really needs to be introduced. Not people suggesting things that'll only benefit something they specifically and only do, it needs to be about everyone. If you want to control and keep people contained, they will leave, they have to all be able to feel accepted and to enjoy everything with everyone otherwise you'll end up with people who have billions and others who have nothing but skillcapes and low level seeds in their banks not knowing how to start off again in the game that'll eventually end up quitting.

Introducing cash will also help out players to buy these resources too because they can now afford it, instead of the common items for items trading. There needs to be more cash, and that was noticed when the statues were introduced at least, but it's not enough because it's still going to be the same issue unless it's changed.

I would like to first point out that a lot of players from my experience with playing emps-scape throughout my time have faced different problems with trying to actually do something that'll gradually help their account, and make them money.

Sooooo, I'm making these list of ideas that I think would help the game balance out and keep the economy growing and for more users to actually use gear to risk and for players to start going out there more instead of standing around at the duel arena or at falador trying to sell something they could actually use instead to level their stats, and make money another way.

  • A new area, that is just a secluded room, with the boss, and you.
In order to access the room or the door itself you'd have to give up an item to enter, maybe it could be something like a draconic visage to kill a dragon, I preferably thought of Elvarg maybe with boosted stats as a new boss. If anything it could require a weapon of dragon, or the draconic visage. If you put the draconic visage it'll make the boss less powerful because of the visage giving you more advantage, and making it more vulnerable. It would basically boost your stats to 125 or something of high nature to kill the boss easier if you used a visage. (This would balance out all the visages coming into the game.
  • More cash drops from bosses in bigger sums, maybe ranging from 1,500,000 - 10,000,000 coins dropped from General Graardor, or Commander Zilyana, the rest of the PvM bosses that are out there. It would help give players the cash to buy more supplies to kill them for their rare drops, and give more cash into the game so players can buy resources. (The statues were a good idea for bringing in cash but this would also help a lot and people would end up buying gear more!
  • I suggest also giving the King Black Dragon a more rare drop table, maybe colored infinity to be dropped from it, or make an NPC by the dungeon there that's a wizard that'll color your infinity based off of a magic level and a runecrafting level so people will be motivated to make more runes, and to level magic and to use it in general, as well to then go spend a certain amount of money to make the infinity colored, based on the color type it would make that elemental spell more power. it could maybe give some extra stats as well because the color could be an 'enchantment.'
  • Give dagannoths the ability to drop bones 1-10 kills, so that some players have an alternative instead of just massive killing dragons, that'll also slow down on the visages.
  • I would also say to introduce the ring of wealth and give it a specific type of drop table of rare items you could get if you have it equipped, like bolts, onyx, large lumps of cash, high level seeds, herbs, maybe even onyx amulets so people could have those enchanted.
  • Give farming a little pizzazz by adding strange fruit into the game when picking fruit trees or trees, farm your patch and get one you could eat it for experience in agility or hitpoints, or also farming.
  • Add an item maybe like ice gloves to kill fire element npcs better, make it dropped by wyverns, so that they have a nice drop that people would actually go to kill those for.
  • Make the binding necklace a rare drop from bosses that you can then select any skill get bonus exp while equipping it in the skill you choose for about 500,000 xp, or 250,000 xp. It could disappear after that amount of experience has been used in that skill, once it's used it can't be traded. Also make them tradable (optional).
  • Maybe add the amulet of ranging to Kree'arra, so there's a better amulet to use instead of the Armadyl pendant, boosting up the use of range a tad bit.
  • Add a dialogue in the tutorial to tell new players to sell items into the general store so that people get used to selling stuff in there so there's a fluctuating market going on with low level items instead of people going around trying to have big sales of junk. But give the items they're selling in the general store a decent worth to sell too instead of just having it be like 1gp for copper or coal.

These are some ideas I thought could help out the economy and give some players something to do, at least if new monsters aren't introduced, boost up the price of worth in the general store of stuff in the shop that you get as drops from npcs.

Instead of making rare drops common like it was it should of been the users able to get the supplies and buy the stuff they need to get those items without a problem.
Let me know what you think would be worth suggesting to give this game a greater start at something we've been missing on for years.

So far I'd have following suggestions:
  • More to do for med levels. Better drops.
  • GE to improve selling and buying skill resources.
As soon as you add better drops to lower monsters, the amount of that drop will increase vastly (see visage drops on all dragons, dfs has crashed hard and is not sellable as everyone has too many of them)

Also it's a fact that the amount of cash per player is just a fraction of what we had in old emps scape, that's why selling stuff is so hard right now. I think improving gold value of items to sell to general store would solve that, and maybe lootshare (would also take away the overload of loot items in the market).

It's impossible to keep every player satisfied, people will quit guaranteed. The lack of advertising makes the player count decline too.

Skills like agility, smithing (mainly these two) could get an xp buff (1.2x, 1.5x ?)

Thoughts everyone?

That's because you don't make items intended for great use to be frequent, there should be more dragon drops, and even a chance for having like a rare drop table something like a rare chance of getting 10m cash from bosses or a super rare chance from getting a valuable none tradable item that can help you get access to something where you can earn money. I'd say add a rarer drop to kbd like colored infinity or something where people will want the dfs for a purpose. Manipulating demand can easily be done with the right tactics.
The lowest droprate we can set is 1 in 1000 and you see what that did when we added 1 in 1000 draconic visage drops to dragons.

Also i think that if you reset our banks you should have resetted our levels also. Completely fresh start for everybody. Make week or two of double exp in the beginning and then go back to normal exp rates. Too late to think about that tho.
Yep we already went over this but it's too late now.

Only black dragons should have gotten the visage drop added to their tables.

I feel as if it was due to the new client being quite complicated to download. People wouldn't have quit due to the decrease in member weekends and double XP. After all, you cannot be dependent upon these every week, it'll just spoil the game.

I would take away double xp weekends and start doing like an item that grants double exp for a certain amount, new item, new content and something people can work towards to get instead of it being free, rs does it and it worked out great.

Btw, the client issues can be fixed but the game needs balance in a lot of fields.

It's honestly sad seeing level 121's with dragon chains and adamant boots.
The bank wipe causes this, also you cannot earn cash with skilling as many players try because nobody has a bank that can afford skilling anymore (this was pretty balanced in emps scape)

Thus everyone is stuck with resources they can't sell, and no cash to buy actual items (and nobody will buy the resources off them as nobody has cash, its a really degrading process that can only be reverted very slowly)

Since we have clan chats, i think lootshare and coinshare options would really help introduce more cash, but there's no g.e so somebody would be responsible for prices being constantly updated. That would solve the cash issue.

@Mary I'm referring to emps before the shut down, this issue has been around for years.

Everybody really is blind to what is really happening in the game.

There is too much high level content and low level content is lacking a long with one major important part that fits everything all together: mid-level content.

If there was stuff for everyone to do to make money, f2p and p2p players would be more comfortable with interacting with eachother and actually have fun with the game. There's too much of a sense of losing things, there's no real fun anymore because the game is becoming gradually more serious in experience, and in content. Yes it's more professional but most people play rsps for fun and the thrill of the over used term nostalgia. There has to be fun, doing the same events for items also gets boring, especially for items or money you're like what do i do now? What's exciting to do? How can i make a lot of cash with this new wealth? Oh how about staking or pking, the risk is what people look for now because it's exciting. But because of that people lose and everything they earned is gone and then they quit, if there were methods and mid-level to make money or do things that pay decent and require less work, we would have that balanced game.

It's honestly sad seeing level 121's with dragon chains and adamant boots.

I feel like rich players won't even buy the rares just to horde because of the fact they know they have a massive manipulation of the economy.

So i was sent to Virginia for a work trip a long with 3 other directors to help open about 8 new stores, so i took the opportunity to go enjoy and see the mountains since my resort they paid for is massanutten, (inside the valley of mountains).

I also decided to go hiking, and got some immaculate scenery pictures:

Tell da girl to unban me and I'll give you everything you lost. Prove it 1st xD
Nop

Emps just needs to have bugs fixed, idk why or how long it takes on working for solution fixes but, I know Thomy has always had a sense of perfecting whatever he does and is capable of making emps the way it should be. Just have a little more faith in that, it'll get better before worse.

After all we all are recovering from a shut down a year or 2 ago.
Think this isn't a topic about the bugs?? Just about the mods 'not' helping??

But you need to realize the origin of the problem, if less issues were occuring, there would be less dependence on staff.

Bigfixes won't solve everything. People would still get banned and scammed, and looking at the complaining in the shoutbox, bans are the most common problem people are having.

You can't really control people but the game can be changed, that's one way to at least keep the game comfortable to play even if someone lost everything.
