Har'lakk has the same problem. After he leaped into the air to do the "death from above" attackmove it just disappeared but kept attacking. I switched auto attack on and after few hits to the boss it appeared again.

Can you make a video on how you get 51 kills a trip? or is it just barraging?

Use blood barrage there. Lure the boss near minions and target minion.
Using poison purge aura is recommended.

So i banked my Imp and it disappeared. It might have changed into dark christmas cracker because i didn't have it in my bank and then suddenly had. I opened it and got random loot.
I can't find Present Imp from my bank anymore.
