You should have a good gear before doing so, and make sure you use Melee protection prayer.

There are a lot of players who nolife skilling, and that's how they achieve a lot of 99s.
Me, I have been playing on this account for like 4-5 years and still not maxed, so it depends on how much time do you spend on skilling.
