Suggestions & Ideas / Farming that is more afkable
« on: May 19, 2018, 09:01:31 pm »
Add farmers near patches to whom you can pay 50k to look after your herbs or trees, so you don't have to water/rake them. You only get exp for growth cycles and harvesting. This would allow for afk farming or farming while doing slayer and such.

Feedback / Re: Multi-combat spells
« on: May 19, 2018, 09:28:53 am »
Right now these spells provide 20% of the XP you were gaining before. In my opinion, this ruins a lot of the use of these spells. How about you get 40-50% of the XP?

How about you get 100% of the XP? Their purpose is to train quickly but efficiently.

Bet shutting down RuneLite will have nothing to do with people and quitting OSRS. They will still play on normal regular clients from Jagex website or OSBuddy(Streamers will use it perhaps). If OSRS itself would shut down - then it might grow. In this case, I'm not so positive it will effect us in general.

The thing is that it might - A lot of people are cancelling their memberships because of this corrupt shit (people speculate that OSB is giving a share to OSRS, so when they started losing players OSB devs contacted JMOD's to do something, though there's more to it). Though, the situation is resolved now, the reddit community autismed their way into letting Runelite live on.

General Discussion / Re: Future of Emps-World - Popularity Discussion
« on: April 18, 2018, 09:35:27 am »
I have experience about servers, as u see the most successfuly servers today are OLD SCHOOL (osrs).
The chance of growing emps again is Old-school.
Old Emps-scape was delta base I think, I know it has a tons of bugs, etc. so now update it to osrs verstion with new updates, just make 2 toggle data of playing, new school and oldschool osrs. Try that, and if u are going to tell me "We can't" "Nty we hate odschool" or "It's impossible" Then emps will never grow up. As u see much people beggins with oldschool that's mean you have % much about oldschool, to be honest Idc, what u like brother, Thomy. <3

Retard spotted.

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Hardcore ironman mode
« on: April 03, 2018, 03:48:13 pm »
Here's the final concept/idea of how the gamemode would work the best in Emps imho:
  • GA tickets disabled completely (including the one from tutorial island)
  • You are able to buy two extra lives. This would be an item you hold in your bank and when you die it gets consumed. First extra life can be bought at 1000 total level which costs you 1m gp. Second life can be bought once the first one is consumed with 1750 total level and 10m gp.
  • Once you die and don't have any extra lives left you will become regular ironman.
  • Minigames that are safe are also safe deaths for hardcore ironmen.
I know this gamemode is basically just waiting for your internet to fail or game somehow fail on you but it's all for good fun and i'm sure it would have
players and perhaps even attract some older players to return who have got bored to the current game and have nothing to do.

How about you can just have 1 life and no more? HCIM mode is all about preparing yourself for situations like those with rings of life.

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: New world event - Wilderness Raids
« on: April 02, 2018, 07:57:14 am »
I'd like to see this in-game since it'd attract more people into the wilderness and new content is always a nice addition.

However, the dev time required for it and the fact that it'll be dead content in a week or two (since I assume it'd be a group activity like Nex and the demon bosses, and the only thing keeping them alive is slayer) I don't think it's worth being put in the game.

TL;DR I'm feeling so/so on it.

Support, can't see how it could impact the game negatively.

    • Bob's name was reverted. He's now called Bob.

    I think you meant reversed.

If I connect through a VPN of a middle eastern country, will I get the boost?  :o

Guides / Re: A rather poorly-written but efficient new barrows guide.
    « on: March 31, 2018, 01:25:36 am »
Guide is 8/10, Great job overall. But using magic here is waste of runes. I think, melee option would be more viable unless you're pure account and not main.

I can see where you're coming from, but magic allows you to use minimal amount of prayer points when fighting the brothers, heal off of the monsters and get to 100% rewards in a matter of seconds. If you're bringing a melee switch you're just going to waste inventory space but with some optimization I can see it being efficient.

Guides / A rather poorly-written but efficient new barrows guide.
    « on: March 30, 2018, 03:50:08 am »
This is mage-only, cost-effective new barrows guide.

    Requirements:

    - 94 Magic
    - 80 defence
    - 40 prayer (the higher it is, the better. 70 prayer would be optimal)
    - 90+ hitpoints
    - 10m starting money

    Gear/Inventory:

Personally, I find this setup quite cheap and good.

    Inventory:

    Gear:

Full ahrims works wonders at barrows because of it's spell-effect boost ability. Blood barrage heals more and freezes last for longer. You could go with more expensive options, but I'd stick with Ahrims, since this guide uses mainly blood barrage.

I took a skillcape over something else because it's extremely cheap (99k or so ), gives you prayer and attack bonuses. Salve amulet is a must at barrows.

I'm wearing a seers ring imbued, but it could be easily swapped with a regular seers ring or a ring of stone. I'm just using it because I have it.

Now about the inventory: Make sure you have over 1k of blood runes or death runes just in case you get unlucky. You're going to get all your runes back from the barrows chest (or not if you get extremely unlucky), and most likely even get more runes. The reason why I brought law runes is because you can use them to instantly teleport to canifis without having to walk to falador.

    The fights:

As an autocast, use blood barrage.
If you have some prayer points left, start with Karil and move on to Ahrim, since those are the only two brothers that you'll have to use prayer on. Ahrim can be killed without prayer aswell, but only if you have at least 75+ HP remaining.

The melee brothers is the strength of this setup. You won't need prayer for any of them. After you open the coffin, run around for 2 seconds and then manually cast ice barrage on them and far-cast them with your blood barrage. The fight should look something like this:

If you encounter a catacomb, DO NOT GO INSIDE IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 2 BROTHERS REMAINING! Having more than 2 brothers remaining in the catacombs will be a pain in the ass since you can't really spawn them easily. If you have two or one brother remaining, feel free to enter!

When you're inside the starting room, the three out of four doors will be locked. Right click all of them until you see one that has the open option. The same is with doors to the barrows chest, except that it contains a puzzle. Here are the solutions:

The killcount is extremely quick to get using this setup. Run around in the room with a lot of the monsters, stand in a corner and blood barrage them all. You should get the killcount to 100% in 5-10 casts of blood barrage.

Good luck on your barrow pieces!

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Creating a market for runes.
    « on: March 30, 2018, 02:20:31 am »
Fixing magic weapons with runes it will be hard to iron mans becouse hard to get runes in iron mans and take time to craft it.

The game shouldn't be shaped around ironmen, it's your own choice to play the more challenging game mode.
