As a non-pker I see nothing wrong with this problem.
If you don't want your enemy to tab away maybe go fight in duel and disable forfeit.

I think only 1 upgrade is necessary teleport and get task but that would give slayer helmet a way too many options.
You could upgrade slayer helmet with enchanted gem and 150k slayer points to get direct tasks from the slayer helmet, you get task from the latest slayer master you got task from.
About wildy maybe a different slayer helmet specialised wilderness only?
