This has been suggested countless times, no matter how many votes you get it's still up to Thomy to decide.You are right, this indeed has been suggested countless times. This means that lots and lots of people actually want it to change back to how it used to be.
As for me, I wouldn't care whether it gets changed or not since I still wouldn't go and play it. However, I can understand that people are fond of Emps-Wars. I also prefer Emps-Wars over Castle Wars for obvious reasons. I just don't want Thomy to waste time on it since there are more important matters to focus on.There are a TON of bad things about emps-wars. For example, players that aren't very well geared won't enjoy the minigame at all. They won't be able to damage the boss and are only left to kill players, which wasn't rewarded back then, unlike it is now in castle wars. Emps-wars took a lot more time per round to finish. In emps-wars only one person was rewarded per team for actually playing the objective, you got bonus tickets if you did the most damage to the boss, again this was entirely related to your gear. Now you get tickets for running flags and killing people, so both trying to take flags and defending yours is encouraged. As far as minigame design goes, castle wars is definitely better designed.You stated there were a TON of bad things about Emps-Wars. You just listed a few bad things and I think two of those few are false. You said it took a lot more time, where did you get that idea from, have you ever played it? Trust me with a decent team the game was over in minutes. And it's not like a decent team is hard to comeby since Emps-Wars was always crowded with people. You also mentioned people who aren't very well geared won't enjoy the minigame at all. When I used to play back in the days I also used to be a noob with no gear, but guess what? I did enjoy the minigame, just like countless of other noobs with full Dragon who played it 24/7. It ofcourse may be because the shop contained a Saradomin Sword which they could sell for a decent price in Falador, that I do not know for sure. But would it be bad if they played it for that reason? I don't think so, it used to be an easy moneymake method for people who don't have the required stats to solo a boss or the required Slayer level or a membership to slay monsters that actually drop decent stuff.
Let's move onto the next argument, only one person was rewarded for doing the actual objective, this may be true, however, this single person wouldn't be able to do it on his own. The boss is too strong for that, and you can imagine that the other team has defenders to protect their boss. I kind of agree with you on this point, but why not change a little bit of concept of Emps-Wars? Might aswell give tickets for killing players aswell, since that has been updated in Castle Wars aswell... You think Castle Wars is better designed because you get tickets for doing the objective; people try to take each other's flags and they try to defend their own flag. Well in Emps-Wars people wanted to win the minigame to obtain the most tickets possible hence people tried to do the objective, which is killing the other team's boss before your's was defeated. Some people were defensive and stayed in their own castle to protect their boss and some people were offensive and stormed the opponent's castle to defeat their boss. As far as I'm concerned the minigame design is pretty equal.
Pretty much all of your arguments are busted.Also polls can quite easily be rigged.I'd suggest you to use polls aswell. Oh wait, that doesn't raise your thankcount.

Why do you want this game?: As I've stated above, I only have 1 game on Steam which is CSGO, and I feel bored sometimes.
