As for me on the other hand, I've killed and logged over 500 mithril dragons and haven't got one spear.

So...I've been killing mith drags for a long time now trying to get a zammy spear.
I tried a lot in old emps too..no zs. I possibly have the worst luck ing.
Went through Karils top three times. fully degraded my morrigans coif. Used over 200 s restores. Spent countless hours at miths. Definately over 500 drags killed.. >_<
This is what I end up with

Note: I've alched 6 whole square shields, sold over 1.4k mith bars, lost d chains pking, crafted some gems, and used some runes.
Feel free to donate a zs to this poor kiddo.

That is why armor is seperated into classes.
Barrows would be around middle class. IMO YOU CAN PK WITH GUTHANS AND KARILS its just YOU WILL NOT.
Karils is extremely good for PvM imo, I hit constant 40's and have a max of 48 with decent gear on spectrals (using salve ammy ofc)
I see people using Torags as tanking armor in PvP, I want a guthans chainskirt because its hella useful for pvm.
My last statement: All armors are useful if you know how to utilize it. Guthans can be useful if you have a good finisher e.g. zs, gs, vesta spear.

JUST GIVE IT A TRY
