Welcome. I'm living in Georgia right now too. I graduated High School in may 2015 though so we're clearly very different.  ::)
I graduated in December 2014 but I walked in 2015 of May, last Friday or the week before, one of the actually. You might never know... ;)
Hi soulsplit refugee
Refer to a couple of posts above, I'm not from SoulSplit. Thank you though!

Welcome to the server, enjoy your stay.
Haha.... love it, thanks for the welcome.

Hey James, Welcome to Emps-World, I hope you enjoy your stay here! ^-^
^-^
Thank you! I love the picture hehe.

That was a joy to read, it's nice to have a new asset to the game! Are you by any chance from Soulsplit (soulsplit is shutting down for the people that don't know yet)
No lol, I am the former second owner of Ikov and was the last RSPS I played before I took a long needed break from RSPS besides being a little active on MoparScape. I could never get into S-S and interesting to find out that they're closing down their servers now. I never could stand the owner and its community (at least the few people I had came across for the little and I mean little amount of time I bothered to remain there).

Before you do ANYTHING on the forums, switch to the bright forest theme. You'll thank me later.

welcome m9
I'll have to give it a shot hehe... thank you!

Introductions & Farewells / Introduction
« on: June 09, 2015, 07:46:02 pm »
Hello everyone,

I wasn't planning on posting an introduction but I decided otherwise and introduce myself to the community, I hope to meet new people and find some things to talk about. I especially love being active on forums and have numerous amounts of discussion so we'll see where that takes me. And of course, I plan on being on the server as long as it keeps me interested and not confused haha. I understand Emps has been around for a LONG time and I have been on-and-off here but never decided to be ACTUALLY apart of it, to be honest, I've probably played a total of 10 minutes besides this time around since Emps being online. Let's see where this time around takes me, I'm interested and nothing to do!

Anyway, starting the introduction.... my name is James Hernandez, I'm 19, born and raised in Georgia. I graduated high school in December of 2014, and looking forward to joining the Marines and later the police department. I have a part-time job as a self-checkout attendant and being a supervisor for Kroger.

I listen to a lot of music and have a big taste ranging from opera, classical music, to rock, metal, little rap etc., I love to hear new music and take all ideas before judging it! Feel free to share if you so wish to.

I have been apart of RSPS for nine years now, started RuneScape in '05-'06 (one of the two). I started out with Java programming, didn't much interest in it a bit later and then started in web development and administration. Finally, took a BIG interest in community management which also helped me a bit in my part-time job as well.

I'm a pretty simple person, respect those if you want to be respected, easy going, love to talk to people, listen to people's problems and trying to help etc., overall I am a people person. I am a BIG lover of horror pictures, media, movies etc., all the while being a BIG BIG BIG lover for polar bears. They are very beautiful creatures so I might eventually take up the time to join a volunteer group to help these wonderful animals out! You might either see me sharing some horror media or polar bears... haha.

Anyway, if you have any questions then feel free to ask! I'd love to hear them.

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: New rule for this section.
« on: June 09, 2015, 07:38:40 pm »
I really don't see the need to add this, I would have hoped this would have been common sense. Nonetheless, I haven't been on the forum long to realize how people take certain comments towards their suggestion. If it DOES need to be added, I think I'm going to loose a bit of faith. It should be as simple as telling the person a YAY or NAY. If he/she has a problem with that, oh well? I mean really, it really shouldn't really take any thought.
The "feedback" on this section has gone into insulting others on many threads. Bad behavior like that is already prohibited by our forum rules, but I still feel like this section could use an extra reminder to its rules. What harm can an extra line of text cause on a stickied thread?
That little text isn't going to stop them from doing it just because it's written in a thread. If change wants to happen then being stricter in this board as for the rest (should need be of course, like I said, I haven't been here long enough). Once a strict policy has been enforced (whether or not that is forced or not, I don't know) then people will soon realize what they're doing and what will become of them if they continue to do. I mean, you are absolutely right - it doesn't hurt, but I don't see as to how it'll stop them. Just being a little more strict if not a lot would help this board and those that are affected by these people that take advantage of others and what not.
