General Discussion / Prayer bonus

I got curious as towards how prayer bonus affects the amount of points being used. I managed to get almost the max amount of prayer bonus and I'm wondering how much prayer i will save overtime. In one of the older update notes, there was a buff to the prayer bonus so i have no idea how it functions.
NOTE: in the picture I'm missing 3 prayer bonus because i do not own a Max cape

So currently, drinking an antifire potion will give you 5 minutes duration of antifire. In the 5 minutes, the effect slowly starts to fade, and this actually means that the antifire effect is slowly getting weaker and weaker, which causes you to take damage. I think that this should be removed because it makes them a nuisance to use when I have to repot every 2.5 minutes instead of 5 minutes.
I also thought that it's a bug, as most potions fade (like any stat pot) and they were meant to be made without the fading effect. With the new upcoming update (stated by Mary) they would also recieve a lot of use in game.

Not sure whether it has been suggested or not, but being able to bring noted barrow items (or unnoted) and having an option to 'repair all' in your inventory will save a lot of time, having to reapir like 2-3 invies is a lot of struggle

Resolved Bug Reports / Game tick affecting eating when death occurs

So this bug has been around for such a while now, and i felt that i should create a report about this once and for all.
When you're in combat, and your opponent deals you a hit that would be 'fatal' the hit registers 0.5 seconds before your actual death occurs. within that 0.5 seconds, you CAN'T eat. The game has the hit registered before you die, so at that moment, not much can save you (probably only an earlier casted teleport that has the perfect timing).
I've realized this in so many different scenarios, mostly pking for me.
Could this be fixed? because it's really affecting the possible risks you can take in a pvp situation and i've heard from people that it's a nuisance in pvm scenarios.

For everybody that doesn't know, ruby bolts deal damage equal to 10% of the opponents current health and damage you back slightly.
Currently they're barely used, mainly because their damage output is capped at +30 additional damage to the inital hit. I think if the bonus was uncapped it would see some action. I honestly think this would be a great addition, it could be quite OP but when i tried the bolts, they seemed quite inaccurate, so that might balance it out. For example, Chronozon's health (850) is among the highest of the bosses. 10% out of his health is 85, however ruby bolts have a total maxhit of about 46-47. (idk fo'sho) tipped rune bolts have a maxhit just over 54.
Another way to make them more useful would be to increase the damage cap. A lot of bosses have less than 400 health, so it wouldn't be that big of a difference (for example - gwd bosses 380hp, SDChamp 400hp) THOUGH they could be useful for certain bosses that have greater max health.
PVP wise, no, there's no way for them to be op. current player's max hp is 126 with SSS and 10 from that is ~12. so with a total maxhit of about 60, dragon bolts top it hard with 80+.

Welcome everyone, decided to make a new boss suggestion because i felt like pvm had become a bit boring for me over time.
I got the idea from browsing Runescape wiki: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Phoenix
I haven't really worked this trough, so my idea is very brief. I think the boss should be located in either wilderness in the original KBD area or in the crandor isle. Apart from that, i think it would also be a nice members feature so it would require about 85-99 slayer to kill.

Dragonfire shield and or antifire potions would be recommended to kill phoenix.
The boss should have a high defence bonus similar to any of the godwars bosses and also, a high damage range attack that the phoenix uses from time to time. Mainly, it would attack you with melee and dragonfire.
I'm not sure what about the health and the maxhits.
About drops, i think a 100% drop should be: Ashes, 3 phoenix feathers. the Phoenix feathers are used to make super antifire potions that are made with high herblore and a dwarf weed herb.
As far as the rare drop goes, i thought of two things. A melee battleaxe with a completely new mechanic to the game, just like we saw with SoL. Because i saw Mary remodel a green dragon into a griphon, it would be awesome if something like this was possible from for example a dragon battle axe to a fancy phoenix-winged battleaxe.
The other idea is a staff for magic that preserves soul and fire runes. soul rune, wings, phoenix? get it?
I took my time to make this post for fun, though i'd still love to see something like this being featured.

EDIT: It would give the boss a bit of variety if it had a rebirth ability, healing the phoenix about 30% of health after death and making it enraged, similar to tormented demons.

Can the onyx bolts effect hit trough range prayer and deal the extra damage without taking the protection prayer into consideration? I know this is possible with entchanted dragon bolts.

Is there a way to calculate clawspec's total maxhit?

Is the Area of effect damage from AOE spells  (barrages, bursts) random? Is it a percentage of the actual hit?

Do items with (G) or (Sp) kits drop on death as the loot for the opponent in the wilderness? Or do they act as Fury (T)/vigour?

Currenly plate armors such as dharok's, dragon and even rune along with a lot of other metal/plate armors have crazy defence agains any sort of magic (including korasi's). I know, that making it as it is in OsRs (giving plate armours negative magic defense stats) would be a huge nerf, but at least don't make it so strong. With sheilds making magic REALLY inaccurate and as if its not bad eunogh, i think plate armors magic defenses should be nerfed If not to negative stats, at least neutral stats. The reasons why i think this should occur are:
tank gear like bringing karils somewhere would actually be a thing (bridding and or deep wildy)
Shields have such a big influence on magic alredy, thats eunogh
Korasi would be used more often

I will be honest, i have no idea how it would affect the game, though if anything, testing should be done with the nerfed armours, then making it viable until it feels balanced.

A list of suggestions i'd love to see in agme

Red colored dark bow - same idea as with the other colored bows.

For 25000 slayer points, duradel would be able to assign you all the four godwars bosses as a task. This would be useful because slayer helm gives a good accuracy and damage boost.

Tormented demons should switch prayers more often or pray the respective attack style that the player is using.

Wyverns are not very often killer, their bones are not being traded at all. I think it would be good if they would be better than dragon bones, but not as good as frost dragon bones. currently, dragon bones are better.

infernal mages currently don't have a chance to splash their snaring spell, even trough prayer. They should be able to splash as well.

Buff dbow. just do it. please. A magic shortbow's spec is more accurate and actually more useful imo.

Make revenant knights and dragons have a little better droprates than revenant dark beasts, this is because if you kill revs, you can only kill dark beasts and there will be no difference beteween killing knights beasts or dragons.

Edit: Id also like suggest making an option to turn on and off equipping item combat cancelling, though the feature was a bit buggy its was uses by many pkers.
