Debates / Re: Globalization
« on: April 24, 2016, 12:02:58 pm »
Thing about globalization is that if it truly happens, people won't have their own culture close to heart anymore. Their own country, their own history - it will be forgotten, and that's a pity.

Globalization also ruins patriotism. People won't find their homeland so different and special anymore.

I believe most countries have a limit on how many they are supposed to take in or are able to take in every year to their country.
Lets take Norway for instance. A big majority of people do believe they will live as kings when they arrive Norway. Fact is not, better than
how it was? Yes, most likely. But without all these foreign people and inventions in my country, i wouldnt have had kebab or other fantastic food today.
You know how bad i would have felt thinking i would go to buy a kebab after a night out in the city and i see no kebabshops????? I would have flipped.
Kebab is probably the only arguement i have for immigrants in my country. But i look at globalisation as a positive thing. Our country gets to keep up with the world that way. Cars, food, internet other useless products.

The older generations in Norway are pretty much racists because they grew up in an all white country with nearly no one being black. But as our country evolved people got her fast. I got a lot of multi-cultured friends. There is also many foreign people i dont like. But all in all, they seem to bring good shit to my country. No one have bringed any bombs yet unlike other countries in Europe  ::) ::)
People are being blinded by all the fancy things they get with globalization. Most of them are actually useless, or could be done in their own home country. Their own culture begins getting boring and new things coming with globalization, they accept them. By the time they realise they miss their own culture it will be too late. Beershake's reply for an example.

I'm sure in future people will miss the old cultures that were before, that will then be mainstream.

If only i had your brain for a day and could predict the future like you. Your attitude towards globalization is the problem here. What you have heard and what you have read or been told is what affected you. Your identity is affected by family, surroundings, friends and so on. Its probably normal to think as you do wherever you are.

Never be sure about the future unless you can predict it. Saying "I am sure" in a debate is unjustifiable, cause you can't be sure of the future.
You can believe that it might be like that in the future, but you can't be sure. Just saaaayin. Stay open minded and look at things with other perspectives than what you are surrounded with.

"Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, globalization is simply and utterly good, bad and inevitable. Hopefully the good will out-weigh the bad, but the continued existence of both is inevitable. Because of this, we are better off accepting the truth and, like we do best, moving forward."

Congratulations

Avenus: Sir, can I ask a question?
Martin: Yes!
Avenus: How do you put an
elephant inside a fridge?
Martin: I don't know.
Avenus: It's easy, you just open
the fridge and put it in. I have
another question!

Martin: Ok, ask.
Avenus: How to put a donkey
inside the fridge?
Martin: It's easy, you just open
the fridge and put it in.
Avenus: No sir, You just open the
fridge take out the elephant and put
it in.
Martin: Ooh...ok!!

Avenus: Let me ask another one. If
all the animals went to the lion's
birthday party, and one animal went
missing which one would it be?
Martin: The lion of course!
Because it wud eat all the animals.
Avenus: No sir, it is the donkey
becoz it's still inside the fridge.
Martin: Are you kidding me?
Avenus: No sir, 1 last question.

Martin: Ok!
Avenus: If there's a river full of
crocodiles and you wanted to cross,
how would you?
Martin: There's no way, I would
need a boat to cross.
Avenus: No sir, you just swim and
cross it because all the
animals went to the lion's birthday
party.

Nice!
I am planning on getting a full sleeve on my right arm. Viking themed
first tattoo full sleeve on arm? :o
dat big
G O O D     L U C K

It will be in steps ofcourse, would take weeks by sitting there 24/7 to complete that :P
But yeah, i am planning on a sleeve.

So yeah, as i said i was getting a full sleeve. Here is step #1.
Arrived in Houston, Texas on wednsday and went straight too the tat shop.
Sat there for 4 hours and ended up with this. I started on my forearm because i broke my wrist 4 years ago. So i have a big scar with 25 stictches on my forearm that i wanted to cover. It covers 70% of the scar and takes away the focus from the rest. Rest of my tattoos that i will have for my sleeve will be mountains and vikings. This is a tattoo of a compass to remind me of wherever i am in the world at whatever time there is still a location to go.

General Discussion / Re: What the heck happened
« on: March 14, 2016, 07:11:12 pm »
Well, you got useful and useless staff members.

What difference the men between boys in this game is how they deal with their life when they get bored of the game.

Real men that actually doesn't put any effort in the staff team rather leave and let someone else
monitor and keep up with the games evolution. (Skillz Purez) is a good example

Boys however
, boys will be boys... They started this game with a goal having the rank. When they get the rank its not how they
expected it to be. They later on continue going inactive. Rather than requesting demotion, they just stay in the team until they are
forcefully demoted.

And this ladies and gentlemen - is what difference the boys and the men!

You guys must be retarded if you clearly can't see that this guy is the same guy as "prayer boobs"
or a good friend irl. Their posts are the exact same.

I know volkan, and this is 100% not volkan. I could prove it in many ways.
First of, he started playing before 2010. And he was 100% not one of the richest guys ingame.
Unless this guy can prove the story about how he got max cash some years back, then there is no way this is volkan :))

Same goes for prayer boobs. Someone are just recovering accounts now, so don't go around thinking this is the real one.
