For everybody that doesn't know, ruby bolts deal damage equal to 10% of the opponents current health and damage you back slightly.
Currently they're barely used, mainly because their damage output is capped at +30 additional damage to the inital hit. I think if the bonus was uncapped it would see some action. I honestly think this would be a great addition, it could be quite OP but when i tried the bolts, they seemed quite inaccurate, so that might balance it out. For example, Chronozon's health (850) is among the highest of the bosses. 10% out of his health is 85, however ruby bolts have a total maxhit of about 46-47. (idk fo'sho) tipped rune bolts have a maxhit just over 54.
Another way to make them more useful would be to increase the damage cap. A lot of bosses have less than 400 health, so it wouldn't be that big of a difference (for example - gwd bosses 380hp, SDChamp 400hp) THOUGH they could be useful for certain bosses that have greater max health.
PVP wise, no, there's no way for them to be op. current player's max hp is 126 with SSS and 10 from that is ~12. so with a total maxhit of about 60, dragon bolts top it hard with 80+.
