Events / Hosting Events!

Hey guys,
It has been a while since I've hosted some events, So I have decided to start hosting more events!
I will list 2 events for this week, and 3 events for next week. I'm thinking of doing a poll on which events we will do after October 22nd. I will leave that for you guys to comment on and tell me what you think. I'm not setting any specific time on the 2 events this week, because of my schedule I am not sure of when I will be on. However, next week I will list the day and time that the event will start.

This week:

Next week:
(10/16) Emps-wars
(10/18) Hide N Seek

I'm posting this thread because I got a report that the wildywyrm was bugging out, i checked it out and saw what he was saying, but angilia joli said it wasn't. Which i believe her. Could someone go in a just check it out. When i attacked it, it was different than times before.

Events / Hosting:MINIGAME Pest Control or Emps-Wars! Double Tokens!

Hey Guys,
I'm going to be hosting a lot of events. The first will be tomorrow at 3.p.m. Eastern Standard time. It will be double tokens. Be sure to come have some fun, and get those double tokens. If you guys have any ideas for myself to host anything feel free to shoot me a DM or PM. Will decide tomorrow whether it is Pest control or Emps wars depending on how many people participate!

you listed probably the least important things about the new game.

I realize these are least important things, but they are what most people enjoyed back in emps-scape. I'm not saying to make these top priority, all i am saying is for it to be considered. Maybe run a Poll and see what people think after the oldschool server is out.

I've been thinking on some ways to attract new and old players to emps-world. I have thought of 5 ways that may help please tell me what you think of the following.

1.Not only do we have a world 2 for oldschool server, but we create a members world? Where instead of al kharid being the only members area where non members cannot go, we have a whole world for members.

2.Similar to my first point, but add a spawn world? Maybe design so you can only spawn certain items. My idea for this is to help PK. How will this help PK? This spawning world is for PKers of course. By only being able to spawn certain items, we could create a PK shop that would attract more pkers.

3. Make Minigames last a little longer such as Pest control increase the time on it, that way players can farm more dmage to get more tickets.

4.For world 1 add more things for skillers to do. Such as rocktails for fishing and cooking.

5.I'm unsure how anyone would feel about Overload potions. I don't think people should be able to make them, however what about putting them in a pk shop, if we ever do decide to make a PK shop

Love the update thomy, i know that old school runescape has many blank spots that have not been decided, but i would love to see the following.

1.Godsword animations back to 07 standards when they hit.

2. the drop rates for monsters to be a bit harder to get a rare drop than of 07.

3. If its possible to combine all minigame shops into 1, that might be cool. Id give it a probationary time period tho to see how people like it.

4. Bring the armadyl boss back into al kharid, making it members only. That way giving the drops to be more valuable.

5. Bring the first saradomin sword spec back from 07

6. Have similar prices to those back in 07

7. Pk shop?

8. Make clans more fun. maybe have events such as compete against other clans?

9. Move the kbd to right outside falador where it used to be

10. Lastly make the trade center at falador not GE

1. in order to have more old members comeback to emps, we need to offer more skills that they can master, otherwise they get bored. Also bring more dungeons, maybe a dungeon that has pk in it, might bring back pk to emps. Now for bosses i love the Nex idea, but is there anyway we could make it more as a group boss. Back when emps-scape ran i loved group bossing, it not only made it fun but also very competitive.

2. In addition to skills make more things you can do for old skills, such as for fishing and cooking bring in rocktails. Not only will it be a nice idea, but could help the eco by having another food that players can make money off of, and create more money for pkers.

3. I like the idea with emps-wars where you had a boss you can attack, personally i was not a fan of the flag capture. Everybody loved where you could attack the boss, but then you have the idea where the games go by to fast, because of the high leveled players, so i suggest a balance on the boss that makes the game last a little longer, and makes it a bit more difficult for high level players.
