Here's the thing though, as the person that makes the topic you also have a role in using the feedback you get, whether that is positive or negative. Criticism counts as feedback too and is probably a lot more important than positive feedback. If people disagree with you there may be a reason for it, that reason could be the reason that your suggestion isn't a good one, take it into account.
