I have over 50,000 Twitter Followers. I may advertise if I'm feeling nice.

Lolol. Well 50k followers are usually bought or spam tbh.. Facebook does so much to prevent good pages from getting too much reach quickly (ARAM adventures is an example, facebook is now charging that page money because his comics attracted LOTS of ppl interested in them, he got like 1k in a few days)
Facebook wants big pages to pay >.< My own pages are around 1k likes but i only reach 25% of my likers just because facebook prevents them from seeing my posts because i don't pay.
I'm not sure how this is on twitter but i don't think it's much different.

There are websites were you can manage your followers. You can detect fake/spam accounts and account that are inactive for you to unfollow/make them unfollow you. I use these sites regularly to maintain a stable Twitter account. :)

I feel like this time with emps, we shouldn't advertise too much because that'll not only draw attention postively but also negatively.
Especially coming back from a shutdown by Jagex.

I don't do developing, so technically this is a fan-hosted page. We thought about it ^

Still draws attention, though.

It's not about who runs it.
It's about drawing Jagex attention to start digging.
I am not gonna say anything more, but i do disagree!
