Niinisalo. I think it was -31C on Wednesday morning lol. I'm glad it's only -16C now and it's supposed to get even warmer this week.

Considering the next-to-nonexistent military strength of Finland, it doesn't really matter whether or not we even have an army. That's why I personally consider this complete waste of my time. In these 5,5 months/year I could earn like 15k€, 30k€ to buy a nice car and get an apartment with a cheap/moderate rent. I would much prefer that over the worthless service.

Now please point out when I was "crying". I thought every staff member possessed basic skills of reading comprehension. I was wrong.

You're Finnish which means you can sit back, relax and laugh at my country getting destroyed.

But i agree with you about the military. Doesn't matter if it's 5 years or 5 months long, if Estonia should go to a war with any other country then we won't have a chance either way.
Right now in Estonia you get 100eur per month tho and you have to serve for 9 or 11 months. In my opinion properly paid military service on a voluntary basis would be much more productive. Good subject for a debate tbh.

Upd8:

Freezing day spent at a shitty firing range. Target boards kept constantly falling off and we had to constantly wait for somebody to get them back up lol. -10C with wind at speed of 10m/s is colder than it sounds.

Anyway, the actual shooting was quite fun. Managed to hit every shot on the target board thing over the distance of 150m. We also did some basic training with frag grenades, rocket launchers and land mines, however, they weren't real. Yet. Can't wait to try out real ones!
