Was there a change to the GE mechanics since feb, 2016?

The GE guide (below) states that the cheapest offering will be bought.

If you look at the 15 day history in the GE tracker it is supposed  to show all transactions.

I've had mantas in the GE for 4k for a couple days and noticed the sale for 5k.

Is this a bug or just misunderstood mechanics?

Pretty sure it was changed, don't know when though. What I can say for sure is that there's an amount of randomness to it.

If the buyer places a 5k offer for mantas, and there are already lets say 4 player selling for lets say, 3k, 4k, 5k, and 6k

that means the dude who is selling for 6k each is not included at all.
each one of the rest has a 33% chance on selling their mantas, for the price they've requested.


at least that's what Thomy said last year.
